Welcome to you, too.

Hello and welcome. Lowering... springs or coilovers? How are you finding it?
-
Yep. Posted over there too.

Trial and error ain't working. I'm too thick and don't have the patience. If anyone could tell me the correct pin outs it'd be much appreciated. Virtual internet beers to anyone who can help.

Arse biscuits. At least I know it can be done so maybe a little trial and error is necessary.

Nice one Dan. Ta. I'll give it a try this weekend.

Only the bonnet/hood is aluminium/aluminum, bumpers plastic and the rest steel. I think. Probably. Maybe.

Happy birthday to me! Won't be fitted until Mid-August though.
-
Looking for a pair of stock anti-roll bars to replace the Eibach kit on my car. Happy to exchange if preferred.
-
That was my reasoning and how Fensport had set it up. FCM said it was the other way round hence the discussion with Ross. I'd be interested to know how he's getting on with them.
-
I suspect Kazakhstan's directline equivalent is not so generous.
-
Not my cup of tea, but may be interesting. Difficult look to pull off well but if you fancy it, it's your car - why not go for it?
-
Semi-slicks so not ideal for normal road use, especially in the wet.
-
Ross, you may like to see this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-roll_bar#Adjustable_bars According to that article, the most distant holes are the softest setting and the innermost stiffer. You may like to experiment to find which you prefer for your driving style.

Swapped anti-roll bars with S10 RSG courtesy of FCM Motorsport. Very happy. I can feel even the stock suspension working as it should now and it's a joy to corner with pace again. Once the B14s are fitted I may explore alternative ARBs again, but this time thinner - may even try deleting. So much feel and grip is lost when the dampers are not allowed to work properly. Expecting the Bilsteins to be properly set up for use with stock ARBs though so will hopefully leave OE for the foreseeable.

Interesting. As others have said a little more info would be good, but a high quality alternative piques my interest. -
All sorted and very happy now. Took a while, but Ross (S18 RSG) and me swapped arbs today. A long day wandering around Bristol to pass the time. Worth it though - Great to be back to OEM. Hope Ross is as happy with his.
-
I've not done it myself, but why not use the base itself as a 'template'? Drill through the holes - what could go wrong?
-
Looks like I may be sorted. Messages with another member exchanged via PM. While it's more rigid and flatter cornering, it's made it too harsh for my liking on local roads. I'll have to see if I can find calliper gauge or something - they're Eibach if that tells you anything. As above though, looks like I may have a local swap.

Are there any GT86/BRZ specialists in this neck of the woods? I've found Fensport, Tuning Developments and Abbey to be very knowledgeable and experienced but they're all at least a two hour drive each way for me. I know of one or two Jap/Tuning specialists locally, but their GT86/BRZ specific knowledge and experience is lacking. While many mods, setups and servicing are common across our cars and 350Z/370Z, supra, celica, R32/3/4, civic, s2000, etc. I place great value in model specific experience from the likes of those above.
