Recieved a letter last week for the car that i sold in January pxed at a Toyota dealer and dvla were informed of the change on the day 🤷‍♂️

Would be wary doing that as could affect airbag deployment.

Why not get a small jump pack , Halfords etc. Charge it during the day from the power socket and us that during the night?

Have you tried to fit it? Cannot for the life of me see that there would be a difference between manual and auto ? 🤔

Used to have to do this on Mitsubishi GDi engines when the valves carboned up. Cannot see this being an issue as we have port injectors as well.

If the battery is flat, you enter the pin code in the glovebox to stop the alarm sounding, then touch the fob onto the start button ring for the car to recognise the transponder and press the button to start.

USA premium fuel octane rating is 91-95, so maybe the pump for that market area is different to ours? Just a thought.

Its on stock manifold with secondary cat. Can't say I've heard a resonated TD to be honest other than youtube videos. I was going to secondary decat but think I'd will probably be too loud for daily use. Can't be any more use I'm afraid! I seem to remember there was a group buy of TD exhausts recently, so should be some on here who can advise on the Resonated.

Got the TD non resonated on mine. Was a quite load at first until it carboned up a bit, or maybe i got more used to it. When it's on initial cold start it is noisy, tho i put it straight into drive (auto cat) which quietens it. Bring to clutch bite on manual will do the same thing. No issue with drone on motorway, thought being auto it's at a lower rpm. If you're going decat probably best to go resonated to start with. Hope this helps.

Have the non resonated on mine, noisy on cold start but definitely not intrusive at motorway speeds.

The dealer would have to put it back to standard to sell it. They cannot retail a catless car so you are probably best putting it standard and selling the bits on here.

Just lock the car with the key. Or i think, if the car is locked and alarmed, then you open the boot it disables the alarm as my led stops flashing.

Been here since Saturday and not seen one since Manchester. Sticker in the rear quarter windows. Will keep an eye out again tomorrow.

Doesn't mean it's been crashed into something, could have been car park nudge? Took the rear no plate off mine to polish, found it had paintwork, it was 12 months old, accepted the fact. Unfortunately salesmen don't point out the negative points when selling. Good luck sorting it andApologies for the 'constructive' input.... 🙄

To be fair, if it was a 'new' car you would grounds for complaint. But a 2 year old used vehicle, it will have wear and tear.
