Selling my old valenti bumper / fog light as I've now sold the car. It had been fitted to the car for just over a year, really makes a difference to the rear look of the car and makes it much more modern compared to the 90's style OEM one. Has a few scuffs around the outside edges from where it sat against the bumper cutout but these aren't visible when fitted. Already wired to have the V bar come on with your sidelights if wanted, just need to hook up the red wire to a brake light feed. Fairly easy to install if you have a bit of patience. £120

I think you'll struggle to find a helmholtz frontpipe due to the limited space around it. Hayward & Scott do a helmholtz catback system though.

So it's now official, my 86 is gone! I dropped it off at the dealer today as part exchange, was quite interesting as none of the sales guys there had ever really come across one so they were all trying to call dibs on taking it for a spin afterwards to see what it was like . Hopefully it ends up going to a good home. It's been an awesome car and I've met some great people through owning it (some of which are now some of my closest friends) so it was a bit sad to say goodbye but it was time to move on to something else. Hopefully I'll still be welcome at some of the club meets and track days, albeit if I have to park in a corner Anyways, say hello to the replacement: An E92 M3 Alpine Edition

Yeah it's much better than an action day, I'd certainly recommend doing a session as it's pretty much the cheapest way to do some track time at Silverstone, even if it is just the national circuit. Other drivers are generally well behaved too. -
Thanks and I'll still be coming to meets and track days so they'll be passenger rides aplenty They're optional extras on BMW's, previous owner didn't spec them

No they are the standard non-sequential ones -
To have it on with the rear lights you need to re-wire the internals and use the extra red wire to tap into one of the tail light wires. It's fairly easy to do, there's a few guides around on various 86 forums and youtube on how to do it. You just need a soldering iron which you can get for around a tenner on amazon.

All will be revealed later this week in another thread Lights should be coming off within the next day or 2 so should have pics and prices for these soon. AP's, bushing and head unit will hopefully be off in about 2 weeks. Haven't decided on a price yet as it will depend on the condition once they're off the car. They have only been fitted for a month though so are pretty much still brand new other than some pad wear. The prices for everything should be very reasonable though. This isn't a sale thread, just letting people know that I'm selling the car and I'll be selling the listed parts later this month. This is just so I can gauge interest for the parts that will be coming off so I can prioritise what is worth taking off or not. Once the parts are off the car proper sales threads will be made for each with pics and prices don't worry. I can't do this now as they are all still fitted and prices will be dependant on condition once they're off and I've had change to check them over. -
