@Cerastes Found the Flex A's after some searching on the site. Listed just under the BRZ for some reason. https://www.part-box.com/vstd8-d1ss4-tein-flex-a-subaru-brz-zc6

Agreed, surely there must be some sort of law against targeting vulnerable people for money? Now how much would some Flex A's be @Lucas@PartBox ?

What are peoples thoughts on tracking a tyre that has been puncture repaired? I've already had a search around but some people say its fine and they've done it before with no issues and some people say its not (although the majority of these seem to be from the better safe than sorry angle rather than them doing it and actually having a problem). Normally I'd be on the better safe than sorry side but money is a bit tight to get a new set before Bedford and wondered if I could get away with it for a single track day?

Same here, I finish at 5 but its about a 3 hour drive from my office in rush hour.

Track day on a patched tyre?
HariboPenguin replied to HariboPenguin's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
That's why I thought I'd ask for some advice to try and gauge if its a good idea or not. Plus I'd still have track insurance to cover me if the worse did happen. Yeah, the puncture was just a thin nail and was nowhere near the outer edges of the tyre. The guys who did it rebalanced it before refitting and I've been using them for ages so I know it wasn't a half arsed job or anything. -
gt86 GT86 Veering towards Right under acceleration
HariboPenguin replied to Gigrilla's topic in Mechanical
I think you are well within your rights to complain considering the amount of crap you seem to have gone through so far. I must admit when I was looking to buy mine I tried to book a test drive with Toyota Derby with the intention of probably buying, I was told that I'd have a callback which I never received and when I then chased them up and tried to arrange the test drive they just dismissed me and wouldn't take me seriously due to my age. Their own loss as I went elsewhere and purchased one later that week. I'd probably recommend you try what @Keethos suggested and take it up to @Riceburner at RRG Macclesfield, they are one of the most knowledgeable places in the UK when it comes to the 86 and are one of very few places that I'd let work on my car. I have a Toyota garage 20 mins away from me but would rather take the 1:30 hour trip to RRG as I know that they will look after me and do a good job without any fuss. -
Yep, beat me to it. My light was one of the newer ones so followed the image at the bottom of the page as @Ztox mentioned. Also if you're going to be fitting it yourself this video is pretty good at showing what to do. Took me around an hour, most of which was spent fiddling with the pain in the ass lower clip. Other than that it was fairly easy.

There is a decent guide on one of the Australian forums that shows how to wire up the different combinations, I'll try and find it out after work. Worth noting that the flashing 4th brake light function is an MOT failure though as it interferes with the fog light Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

They normally have a few drop outs anyways so you can get bumped up the list if you don't quite make the 500 Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -

Ah, they should allow those as I have full exhaust / manifold added to mine and had a quote to add a remap in the past and they never said it would be an issue. Might be worth ringing earlier in the day too as I think after 5-6pm you go through to an offshore call centre which generally aren't as helpful I've found. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

What modifications were you trying to add? I'm also with admiral and haven't had an issue adding mods to mine. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Great event today, thanks to Neal for organising it. Was nice to meet up and chat with people whilst admiring their cars. Got a few pics on my phone whilst I was there, hopefully the link works. https://goo.gl/photos/H9iWvuXceHaVTeLA7- 115 replies
