Whiteline KDT926 Gearbox Bush Insert
HariboPenguin replied to OllyW's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Think I've still got my old powerflex one lying around if you're interested? -
Yeah I can highly recommend the Cossie / AP kit. One of the best mods that I did to my car. They give so much more confidence on track and will take whatever you throw at them in their stride whilst staying consistent throughout. If you don't want 18's though I'd recommend the standard AP kits or one of the Reyland kits that are AP but with their own mounting hardware or disc options that can reduce the cost. There are also other kits out there that are just as good but I'd stick to the proven brands such as AP, Stoptech, Brembo and Alcon (Megabucks, but pretty much cream of the crop in terms of brakes) It's really not worth going for the cheaper kits like K-Sport if you're serious about tracking. Proper kits are built to handle much more stress and are also lighter and give better feel which is important when you are braking as late as possible on track, you need that confidence that every time you hit that pedal you are going to get the braking performance and feedback you expect and that they will never let you down. Also don't get caught up in the "more pistons, means it's better" BS, this isn't true at all and is normally how most of the cheaper kits try and blag that they are better. A well designed caliper with fewer pistons can easily outperform a badly designed one which just has as many pistons as they could cram in there cause bigger numbers look better. I've toured Alcon's factory and the amount of engineering, R&D and product testing that goes in to making these kits is insane, you won't get anywhere near that with cheap brands like K-Sport. Definitely get a master cylinder brace too as others have suggested, improves the pedal feel quite a bit, especially under heavy braking.

Cosworth / AP Racing 6 Pot Front BBK
HariboPenguin replied to HariboPenguin's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
SOLD -
Selling my old Cosworth / AP Racing 6 Pot front big brake kit. Bit of blurb about the kit: Includes: 2 x 355 x 32mm 2 piece brake discs 2 x 6 pot brake calipers Stoptech braided lines AP AF404 pads (Their version of DS2500's, pretty sure they're the same) - Roughly 10mm of pad material left all round 2 x Mounting brackets 2 x Aluminium mounting bells Original boxes and documentation The kit had been fitted to my car for about a month and covered roughly 1500-2000 miles. It is in great condition and looks as new bar some brake dust from use. I've since sold the car and reverted it back to stock before selling hence the reason for sale. It is an amazing kit with awesome stopping power, great pedal feel and zero fade. Pretty much one of the best kits you can get for the platform especially if you are doing track days. Price: £1500 collected from Staffordshire or can be posted at buyers expense. (Collection preferred)

Shame you didn't say sooner. I was down in Farnborough on Sunday and could've dropped them by. I'll have a look into postage and get back to you, doubt it would be cheap though due to weight and value to insure. -

They aren't as new as they have been on the car for around 2 years but they are in great condition bar some muck around the rear from drainage (not visible from outside). If that's ok I'll get a postage price and PM you. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk -

Long shot but I'm selling my private reg in case there are any other Dan's in the club that might be interested in it. It's currently valued at £800 but happy to let it go to a fellow club member for £500 (Note that only the entitlement is for sale, not the physical plate pictured)
