I don't get my car back until the following Monday

You know my views on this. Shit on his name, he doesn't deserve any work period. The guy shouldn't be responsible for a buisness.

Exhaust system is around a year and a half old as is believed to have been on the car for around 9000 miles. I've had the car up in the air a few times in the past couple of months ( before it being sat at fensport now, and the entire system is in perfect condition other than a very slight fraying on the section of flex pipe due to a handful of speedbumps disagreeing with my ride height. Full system consists of; Japspeed Manifold (with cat) Rrp £450 Milltek Non Resonated primary cat back system to twin exit back box (includes over pipe and secondary cat delete) RRP £1030 Considering the slight fraying I believe this price is more than fair. As the price is also a third of the cost to buy new I wont be shipping the system ( unless you pay for postage) this means It will have to be collected in person. £500 if gone this week. Whatsapp me if easier- 07870882235 The system sounds absolutely amazing, and isn't droney until 80mph. you can drive around all day under 3k and sound like a factory spec performance car, then plant your foot and sound like a weapon. Exhaust can be heard paired with my supercharger twice in this video. And once in the trailer for the above, below. More videos available upon request via whatsapp. Grab a bargin. no offers No swaps No part ex

Yes it did, sorry! However my exhaust is still available and £500 to the first person that wants it. The manifold on it is £490 new from japspeed so thats a bargin..

Provisionally sold

You were at fensport then? I've got a guy interested in the whole package, if he doesnt have it it'll be 650 for the exhaust
-
Forgota to add, it'll also come with a litre of oil for the charger, which im told lasts around 3 years woth some owners never having to refil it. Rrp £156 p/L

***EDIT, for a brief intro on myself please view my intro thread and or my profile ' about me' section, link for intro at the bottom of this post Hey guys! Welcome to the build thread of the BRZ that has already had its fair share of mods. Some of you know the car already, others don't. The info you'd like is due to follow. The Basics; 2015, 15' reg Subaru BRZ Manual Stupidly Modified for a new car Previous owner brought the car new for £26,000 in march 2015 from subaru, then within a week of running it in and tracking it once, he took it to Knight Racer and spent £25,000 on it in modifications If it came out of the factory making some of the crack, creaks, crunches, groans and vibrations it does after all of these modifications it'd be handed back to the manufacturer, and the factory it came from would be condemned It's been built as a track weapon, so its flashy colour spray job is tatty, and as the above, it makes its fair share of funny noises I'm new to the seriously modified car scene, I've followed it with a passion, being a born and bred petrol head, super-car salesman, and now crash test technician, cars are pretty much my life. Now I'm going to attempt to list the modifications to the best of my knowledge and receipt pile, things may be missed, but I can tell you it's going to be long so apologies if you can here for a casual look! The Modifications; Engine- Litchfield Spec-S Kit (Rotrex centrifugal supercharger, high-flow low pressure drop intercooler, mandrel-bent hard pipes, Litchfield Cold Air Induction kit, Ecutek software mapped on Litchfields Dyno) KR (KnightRacer) overhaul of the above kit, pushing 312 bhp rather than the 250-270 from Litchfield, this includes; KR Exhaust Manifold & KR sports cat (2.5"), Milltek cat back, KR custom one-off remap = more aggressive ignition timing, higher boost and fuelling set up to perfection. Transmission- Competition Stage 3/4 (not sure which, all I know is that it was upgraded from its stage 2) Clutch. Lightened and balanced flywheel Brakes- Front =D2 6-pot 330mm big brake conversion Rear = D2 4-pot 330mm big brake conversion Suspension- Tein Flex-Z coilover kit ( set up by KR, -40mm) Tein Electronic Damping Force Controller KR carbon front upper strut brace KR front strut brace KR rear strut brace Wheels & Rubber- 8 x 18" Mak Highland alloys 225/40/18 Yokohama Prada Tyres 20mm spacers all around Interior- Carbon steering wheel cover Factory SE seats (not a modification but they're awesome so not needed to be) KR rear brace ( people say its a cage but it isn't, just looks like its trying to be! ) that also doubles up as a harness bar Sabelt 4 point harnesses Rear carbon fibre seat replacement panel Dry carbon compartment covers Dry Carbon Head Unit cover Carbon fibre door top panels Carbon centre vent surrounds Carbon Window Surrounds Carbon instrument cluster cover Exterior- Carbon KR Varis Style Front Lip Carbon Seibon Bonnet Carbon Rear splitter/ bumper Carbon Seibon rear AG style spoiler Carbon Seibon side skirts Carbon KR modified Seibon front Fenders Carbon roof cover Full Respray in TVR Candy Red by KR Aaaaannnndddd a smacking great receipt for the labour haha! (around 1100 hours! yes! That isnt a typo! One Thousand and One hours of fitting, adjusting, setting up, spraying, tuning, and some more adjusting and tuning and cutting and bolting) So that sums up the modifications done by KnightRacer and the previous owner. Now me being an enthusiast decided than as they know the car so well I still take it to them for the work I have had done even though its a 120 mile round trip. In the nearly 2 weeks I've had the car I've done 1300 miles and its apparent that this car has be built well. The spray job isnt perfect, that because corners were cut to have it done in time for a magazine feature. This means that paint is thinner one some edges, and the cars original silver can be seen in a few spots. It's chipped, and scuffed, but that is because this car has been used! It isn't just a mean looking carbon clad trailer queen. It is as capable as it looks! And as with the previous owner that built this car, It is my daily. This is the fun part for me. This car has had no expense spared in the build to this point, and it wont have with me either, it's just going to be a slow climb as I am only 20, and I have bills, a girlfriend, and a dog to look after! The List Of Modifications That I Have Planned- Custom one off carbon Rocket Bunny kit Japspeed exhaust valve following the above, some deep concave rotiform black LHR's Big Bad Evil looking rear wing Custom made one off Carbon Front Bumper (I've tried a few companies but none will do it so far, message me if you know anyone who might) Respray ( maybe Audi Nardo Gray) Status Racing Ring GT-X Black Ultra suede with red stitching and red carbon fibre shell x2 Body Guard Paint Protection Film on all carbon pieces Front Carbon Cannards Rear Carbon Cannards Rear over th top diffusers Full Roll Cage Either Full Air Suspension or the mega Bc racing coilovers with Stance Parts Aircups black rubber seal for top of bumper edge/ bumper and fender panel gap due aftermarket parts never being as good a fit as OEM this happens. And there we have it for now! The car is fast, light, incredibly loud, very very responsive, horrible in traffic, and has a horrid clutch that i'm just getting used to after 1000 miles, and considering how low and aggressive it is, the ride is actually really smooth and once you've pulled off the gear changes are awesome! **** Everything crossed off the list will have a post written about it in the thread eventually as it has been done under my ownership, i'll just edit this initial post and post a reply saying updated. Enjoy these pictures, any questions you have I'm happy to answer! Thanks for reading this far ! ***** UPDATE #1 So, as mentioned above, for every item crossed off of the list, there shall be an update written about it. The Japspeed 2.5" Exhaust Valve..... Was it worth the money? No How long did it take to fit? As I was new to the BRZ I didn't want to do anything to it myself, I ordered the part through KnightRacer and got them to fit the part, They thought it'd take 3 hours to fit MAX, but it ended up taking around 5 because of how rigid the part was, and running the cable for the trigger was a Knightmare (forgive the pun). Thankfully because Albert ( the owner of KR) understands that I'm passionate about the car, and the fact that he really likes this car, he only charged me for half of the labour. Does the Valve work or make a difference? Nope. Not in the slightest. It is fitted correctly, everything is where it should be, but it would seem either the switch doesn't work or the exhaust pressure is stronger than the spring on the valve, so I essentially brought a £140 valve for nothing. Advice? Avoid. It was such a faff that Albert has removed the part from the KR catalogue and filed a complaint to Japspeed. The Valve is the silver part at the exhaust flange Update #1.5 More problems caused by the 2.5" Japspeed Exhaust Valve DO NOT BUY THIS VALVE IT IS NOTHING BUT A PROBLEM So I've noticed an occasional slapping sound when driving recently, not enough to make me stop the car, but enough for it to be a concern.... Turns out the added width of the valve has forced my back-box tight on its hangers, not allowing it to move back, so now the front of my exhaust ( manifold and downpipe ) have no free movement. This has resulted in my exhaust slapping against a metal cross member behind my cooling fans when the engine is under a certain load, when pulling off slightly wrong, when going down a road that is too bumpy, or turning left and pulling off. I'm going to remove the valve on Saturday, unless knightracer want to try and make it work properly. At first I thought the above was a ball-joint, if you'd like an idea on how it sounded, however it is too intermittent to be suspension/steering related , and I managed to get the wheel off on Sunday for a proper look, it was a struggle but with some persuasion I can get it to co-operate (see below)

Whoever Adrian sends it to haha!

UPDATE FINALLY Hey guys, sorry ive been lazy with the forum updates, here's an update for you. So, lets wind it back a few months. Build udate that was due to be come 'very soon'; I brought some STATÜS Racing full Carbon Ultrasuede Ring-GT Bucket seats, and they are fantastic. They're abit snug for frame, could've done with the Ring GT-X size. The reason for me not posting the update was that I was supposed to receive a carbon centre console at the same time, along with some smoked valenti revos. However this didnt happen as my supplier had let me down and I couldnt be arsed to do a build update just for the seats. This lead to me near enough not using the forums for a long time and just using the facebook group as its alot easier when access to a laptop / pc is limited. Nothing catastrophic happened to the car, that isnt why I wasnt posting haha! ( until 2 weeks ago). As above, two weeks ago i developed a horrible noise under my bonnet, i hadn't a clue what it was, but it didnt sound happy. Turns out it was just an injector seal. I had the noise diagnosed at fensport. Whilst i was there I had a good two hour chat with Adrian, and we've decided to go a little mad as the car is with them anyway. Step One- Get my Litchfield kit off ( and sell it to Tashan) Step Two- Fit AVO turbo stage 4+ ( with some.new bits on it that could be a first for the kit, I don't know much about it but its gonna be special) Step Three- If the price is right, fully forge internals Step Four- Upgrade Fuel System Step Five- Add Water/Meth injection Step Six- See Dyno Graph of over 450bhp Sorry for the lack of updates, Ive just been lazy😂 Forgot to add, I hit 160 on a privately owned site, resulting in my seibon wing generating too much downforce for my booting. I know have to 4" long cracks going towards the back of my bootlid and curling over the edge. I'm currently trying to decide which carbon bootlid to buy as a replacement 😂

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, today I would like to offer you the opportunity to have your say/ show your interest in a carbin fibre front bumper (or any other bits you want custom fabricating. If you've seen my BRZ, you'll know I'm a fan of carbon fibre.Because of this I have been in contact with a company that custom makes carbon fibre parts for motorsport racing teams. They generally make the undertrays, diffusers, splitters, wings, various body panels, full carbon bodies for gt/lm cars ( they even did a full carbon body for a nissan gtr road car!). This company has agreed to custom fab me a front bumper out of CF to match all of the oem mountings and such. To make the bumper they would have to take a mould, and obviously it would come out as the BRZ shape. Would people be interested in buying one if the price was right? If enought interest was shown for the 86's on here then I can also get an 86 mould made so they can be produced. Now the reason why I have posted this and asked if anybody would be interested is because to get this bumper made just for my car, Is because the company wont have any use for the mould afterwards, so have nothing to cover the cost of it being made, other than me paying for it. Now I am not opposed to the idea of forking out a few extra £££ for something one off, but I thought I'd give all of you guys the chance to be a part of the first ever (globally) batch of carbon front bumpers. As the cost of the mould being produced could be rather steep, the price for the bumpers will reflect that. In turn, if there's lots of you interested then the bumper gets cheaper, and if there is serious numbers interested, then i'll be able to get the cost right down. Ive yet to be given the numbers about how much everything is going to cost, i'll post wherever necessary when I get that information. This thread is purely to gage interest. Ontop of the above, is there any bits people want making thatwould universally fit the brz/86? If there is enough demand for any part no matter how big or small I can have it made... all carbon is FULL carbon too, none of the off the shelf CFRP like my car is covered in, meaning that the underside of the panel will look as pretty as the outside. I plan on having a new bonnet made so that when i have it open the underside looks as good as the top! Sorry for the essay, and ontop of that the poor grammer! (The joys of typing on a smartphone and not quite knowing how to convey your point ) Hope to hear from you guys soon

I completely 100% understand your view on people spending money on their car to impress others, I've know people spend stupid stupid stupid amounts amounts of money and have failed drastically, however in this particular situation its entirely for me The things I do to my car are because I like /want them, I couldn't give a flying **** what others thought haha, and once I've added something I like to share it because I like it. Had the bumper been just to impress people it would've been wrapped the second I brought the car.. Referencing back to your point about the covers (as it ties in with the above), I've made it my goal to eliminate the roof panel, however that would also entail a reapray, which I cant quite justify as when I get the paint redone I'm having everything stripped out so it'll look like a factory job. This also means I need my full cage fitting before hand.. My point is, as its because I like the CF bumper and want it for myself, just having it wrapped would bug the hell out of me, even if it looked exactly like the real thing... As above though, I completely understand your concern and it isn't really very sensible, but personally I still think it'd be pretty neat:)

Is there anyway to upload more pictures? I seem to.only be allowed 0.13mb of upload storage, does that increase with the premium membership?
-
@Church as you can see, it wont just be my bumper that is carbon fibre Your opinion does count, and I understand all of your points, and for the most part I agree with you that in that it is an impractical exercise. However, it everybody wants to be practical all of the time
-
Cheers rob, ill buy the membership now
-
Thanks is it just the image embed code or do you copy paste the url?
-
I totally see where you're coming from, but if you saw the rest of my car you'd see why I'm against just wrapping my car to match
-
The only thing that is a cover is the roof, the arches ( if you couldn't tell from the way that they fit) are 100% real carbon also, the doors are CFRP which the entire outer layer of the door being a carbon shell but the insides of it that hold the cards FRP. Wrapping never looks the same, of it did, why would people ever buy the real thing? On your note about bragging, I don't share thst view point. Its about not cutting corners and being half arsed, if the most part of it has been done properly why not do the rest in suit? Granted your point about weight saving is valid, the difference will be unnoticeable, but it's still there, the replacement part will be lighter and more robust. Heck, I'm not trying to sell you one, I'm just seeing if people would be interested The above member understands ( thumbs up emoji ) There is only one 'skin/cover' that is the roof panel. This is due to the fact that at the time seibon didnt do a replacement roof panel for it like they do now. This (singular) cover was fitted as a decision by the previous owner. I take it you havent seen my car it wouldnt just be the carbon front bumper, look at my profile and you'll understand my interest. I understand your point though, and I completely agree thst if someone just brought a CF front bumper and no other mods it'd look silly. Thanks Are you sure they're not your thing? It'd look good against the black ? I joke, cheers again though Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner
-
As above, it can be the 86 bumper, or the hybrid of the two the APR one. The same could be argued with the carbon fenders in regards to weight reduction. The aesthetics of it would be the main appeal I'd imagine, and if people like myself that are swapping out what they can for carbon then in the long run every little helps
-
Ive been told the mould is be less than 4 figures, if i want one of each theybsaid they would do it at a discounted rate, or I could pay a little extra and own the rights to the mould (s)
-
You'd be surprised, it can be more brittle, however if you rely on your bumper being able to bemd and flex then really you shouldn't be driving. My BRZ is 45mm lower than stock and I have a CF varis front splitter, the worst I've done is scuff my splitter on the occasional speedbump... I wouldnt say it would make the world of difference, the worst that could happen would be the CF would crack, then it can just be repaired by re lacquering and polishing...

Update 2 coming very very soon
