By the way, if anyone was wondering what alignment setup I'm on. Here it is: Front -2.4° Camber -0.05 Toe 5.5° Caster Rear -2° Camber 0.05 Toe

Good thing I seem to be tough on brakes eh? Maybe the Mu's are suited to me
-
Lets not complain about bed in procedures on my build thread
-
I think the best way to solve that is a BBK. If it doesn't solve it, you still have a BBK. Everyone's a winner! Just waiting on a price for the Stoptech 355mm kit

I think pretty much everyone at Blyton apart from 2 people, haven't binned their cars on track.
-
What pads were you on previously?
-
I've heard that the DS2500's are dusty as hell!
-
Wasn't that on the Clubracers and not the HC800's?
-
I don't do much of this light braking malarkey
-
Yeah I'm still coming along! Have you got the HC800's too?

So, after talking to a few peeps I think I've settled on trying the Project Mu HC800 pads and obviously improving my quite frankly dire heat management skills (which shouldn't take a lot, just need to actually do cool down laps ) Still debating on whether to pull the trigger on a BBK just to be safe to push for extra laps, as well as bling of course I have to say I was really impressed by the BC's on track. They're not great on back roads, but I was happy with their performance at Blyton. Debating whether the change to Monosports/Flex A's/Ohlins is actually worth it. Here's a photo of what the pads looked like post Blyton

Gotta give credit to Rob for the photo!

Appreciate the advice/comments. Learning curve in heat management ahead me thinks
-
Oddly enough, fade wasn't an issue at all. There was plenty of stopping power. Just no pads left at the end!
-
So managed to eat up absolutely all of my EBC Yellows at Blyton Park today. Go me. So the question is, do I go for a better pad or completely solve the problem with a BBK? And before anyone mentions it, no I don't want to do cool down laps or shorter sessions

Both of course! Silverstone is only about 30 mins from the pub.

Pistonheads have just released sign up for a new Sunday Service at Silverstone on June 11th. Here's the link! https://www.pistonheads.com/calendar/event.asp?i=59762

@Ade it's almost as if they don't like Ohlins

Mine popped and banged like hell before it was mapped! Still does
-
Cheers dude, just need to get them all the same colour now

So the stock exhaust is back on for the meantime! Still debating on what exhaust I want next... Leaning towards the TD system as the Blitz one is twice the price! Spent the day at Silverstone Cars and Coffee around some pretty cool machinery. Aventador's, 458's, 911R's, a few crazy Classics like Cobra's and Mustangs! Even a Bugatti Veyron SuperSport WRE turned up, so was an awesome event with some great tunes playing in the background! Also tried some new wheel cleaner today (Bilt-Hamber Auto Wheel). Managed to get all that pesky EBC brake dust off of my wheels and there was a hell of a lot of it! Definitely recommend it!
