Edit, ignore, found the pass.

Can't beat a BMW straight six engine, my last car had a straight-six naturally aspirated N52 (265bhp) and I'd swap the boxer for that in a heart beat if it was easy. Rest of the car was a bit too compromised for me on tight bumpy roads but you can't argue with those engines.

Depends which cat back it is, HKS make loads.

Mine is a silver. Looked like there was still plenty of spaces last night.
-
Yep

I wonder if there would be clearance issues with the HKS supercharger and a long tube header, might not be the best designs to combine.
-
You could go crazy and ring the parts department of any dealer. I had mine replaced last month, wasn't supplied with any part number.
-
Interesting, looks a bargain

Nice one, I was going to post this myself.

Real shame when this happens, trying to help someone out. Hopefully he has a genuine reason.

Yeah this is much better than I was expecting after the 18 grand short block.

I get this sometimes on Carbotech XP8 & Yellow Stuff. If I'm on a long motorway journey in the wet I occasionally dab the brake even if I don't need to, in order to get a bit of heat into them.

There's going to be hardly anyone with a 15mm drop as lowering springs generally start at around 25mm. I think there are some TRD springs are 15mm, but don't know of anyone with them.

If anyone else is looking at extending their warranty, Abbey Toyota Redhill just sold me a 2 year 30k mile warranty for £495 over the phone. 12 direct debit payments of £41.25 over the first 12 months. Just sharing this as the Toyota website was quoting £516 and I've seen higher prices around £540 quoted by other dealers.
-
My car isn't that modified really. So far Abbey have warrantied every issue I've presented without quibble. It's getting over £500 of warranty work done next week (a pillar corrosion just started, and bonnet panel). They've never once even mentioned it's modified.

Great offer, but I reckon the divorce would cost more in the long run. Any other Easter offers?!

TOMEI Duracon Gear knobs - New Arrival - Limited Stock
surrey86 replied to Lucas's topic in Part-Box
Just to give some feedback, I'm pretty impressed with this. Even though it is half the weight of OEM, the shifts feel better as the shape of the knob is such that you naturally have more leverage when changing gear. You can also feel a bit more of what's happening with the gear change when sliding changes home. -

Hi Lucas, getting only a £12.60 UPS shipping option on the website. -
You'll sell this much easier if you remove the rear light covers, peel off the roof wrap, fit the normal-sized plate and unscrew that lip kit. Won't cost you anything and you'll have many more prospective buyers. OEM looking cars sell, modified are an acquired taste.

I think good tyres would make even more difference on a flowing track like Donington or Cadwell, Bedford is a bit of a power circuit. That said when Steve took me out in his HKS supercharged car it was only 8 mph faster on the long straight. The extra torque will give you more options on gear selection though.

Most people get these primarily to reduce camber, (especially if doing track work) and secondly even up both sides. These cars gain rear camber with any sort of lowering. 10mm lower on mine has got the rear to -2 degrees.. with stock arms and bushes.

You're having a bit of hassle with those brakes. Even by the law of averages you'd expect half of it to be fitted right way around.
