Did the sump come off fairly easily? I read somewhere it was almost glued with sealant from the factory.

I've found a 'magic sponge' works to get rid the of the steering wheel grease in seconds. You've just to be careful to keep it wet and only give it as much wipes as required - as it will start taking the leather off.

Yeah it's handy when parking in my unlit garage.

Flex A's are more comparable on price and features to KW's sub-brand coilover - the ST XTA. Teins don't seem to wear out any faster than KW's but seem to start looking shabby externally much quicker. I had KW V1's on an Impreza for three years and the stainless steel bodies still looked as good as new. You won't get this with Teins, but they are at a much lower price point for comparable features.

Talkaudio would be the best place to go for these questions. It's been a while since I was into car audio, but that amp seems a bit under-powered for a decent sub. The most economical way to power a sub used to be a class D amp, sound quality isn't quite as good as an A/B, but you wouldn't tell the difference on a sub and you get a lot more RMS for your money. Also the seats in the 86 are really low as it is - if you have your seat quite high you might get away with it, but I'd expect you can't get one under there.

Does this mean they are back to doing UK market cars?! The US stuff was boring.

Swanky Head unit, STI Brakes, last of my bits : (

You just said the opposite re: parts on the car and wheels. Everything is a contradiction. It reminds me of North Korean press releases. "All parts fittee on my car. 20 wheels at same time. 5 intakes at same time. I never made a penny. You give me all the abuse, I will kill the dotard Steeps with fire". Give it a rest and just sort the pics out as per the forum rules. -

Go on jevvy, where's the pics of the 20 different coloured OZ wheels on your car? -

I have some sympathy for you, but no one here is silly enough to believe that. A bit of honesty goes a long way, you sell more here than half the paid up traders. -
Don't you do the TSS? If so I'd double check the regulations around removing the interior, might put you in the pro class.

If I was you I'd take it in to be looked at, it doesn't sound right.

I believe the FRS also has more poverty spec rear brakes.

Going from 0 to 400 dollars a year overnight is unprecedented though. A warning for anyone relying on cloud services of what can happen. I'll be surprised if they are around in 5 years time.

They have ruined the internet tbf

I really like the idea of this kit, quicker warm-up times AND additional cooling. Subaru should have fitted them from the factory. It's a shame Cusco's RRP is so high though, separately the parts are half the price. At this money it doesn't compare well with a Mocal Laminova.

Quite a bit cheaper than Toyota!

Without pics waffling is fair game

Is it true that uel manifolds encourage ringland fail?

Bear in mind @Blameshift lives in Sweden guys... -
Thanks!

Where's a good place to get them?

Nice looking sump baffle!

Fair enough. I'd recommend Greenlight for next time, mods such as catbacks and air filters can be added for free via their website. Don't even need to give them a ring.

It sounds unlikely, they were UEL manifold for years. It's clearly a non issue for a GT86 as this is the first we've ever heard of it -
Have you made an official complaint? If not, do it. I work for an insurance company, not in the same line of business, but if any complaint came in like that it wouldn't be able to be 'swept under the carpet' without being dealt with.

From a previous long-term owner of an Impreza, their engines were nowhere near as reliable as the general public impression. Not bad, but they ain't no Honda.
