Is this another branded variant of the Q300 clone that's been doing the rounds on eBay/japspeed etc for years? Looks pretty similar.

There's a lot of people in the US who have wrecked their engines with DIY crank pulley installs. Don't attempt yourself would be my take on it.

I also use one of these. Quite a few variations of the same jack around, mine is a green Sealey one. It's very good.

Just got off the phone to them, they're claiming we ordered the wrong product while acknowledging we ordered 5 litres. Wouldn't sort it out.

The Pyrenees are great. Worth a lap of the Tourmalet if you're near - the South side is a cracking drive.

We've all had contact via customer services and they've not once said it was a mistake, and they've dispatched. We should be good.

(I was referring to the polybush kit) I've experienced polybushes significantly increasing NVH. But fair enough, sounds like you're ok with it. NVH is very subjective.

That could be pretty brutal on a daily driven car?

It would be worth clarifying with the insurer that you aren't under insuring. I.e. If the car is worth 20k, and you have 10k cover, an insurer may decide you are under insured and may only pay 50% of any claim.

Protected NCB won't stop your insurance going up in the event of an accident. NCB is a discount off your total risk. i.e. if your previous calculated risk was say £1000, and you had a 50% NCB discount, you would pay £500. If you have an accident and your NCB is protected, next years calculated risk could be £2000 and you would retain your 50% NCB discount, so you would pay £1000.
