I had a Thule rack with similar foot clamp design on my WRX, over time it split the rubber on the door trims where it clamps on, just to warn in case anyone goes for this style.

Hello everyone, I've been lurking for a few weeks on here so thought I'd better introduce myself now I've got a couple decent pics of the car. After much deliberation over colour I went for a starlight silver with heated seats and touch & go. I'm really pleased with the car so far, it handles really well and feels pretty quick in a straight line - I think the light weight just makes everything feel responsive. I'm in Caterham, Surrey so hopefully will see some of you about. Cheers

The early BRZ's only had 3 years warranty, think these were the 2012 ones - check this. The later cars had 3 years full warranty followed by 2 years 'powerline' - full details on Subaru's website but basically covers engine and gearbox etc.

Cracking deal

I thought it was decent, Harris's section was cool but I had an inkling he was dumbing his usual review down for mainstream tv a little bit. I too wish Chris Evans would stop imitating Clarkson. i.e. "and the results are "... - He's not a journalist although I appreciate he's doing his best. (At least he didn't refer to oversteer as a 'skid' this week.) I'm not sure about all the presenters. The old mates three person dynamic really worked on the last Top gear, at the moment it seems to be Evans and Leblanc plus a random that doesn't get long to settle in.

Are the v105's still playful enough in the dry? I'm on the lookout for some practical tyres that are fun on the road and can take a 20 minute session on track without going off..

Sounds like a good day out. The problem with track days is you aren't really supposed to slide it. Some venues stricter than others!

It was a big improvement over last week.

Cheers guys, I'll look out for you!

A lot of it felt a bit awkward, and I cringed at some rehashed jokes (i.e. crashing into the back of the reliant a couple times), but I think it'll improve with time. The first few episodes of the last Clarkson-format top gear were nowhere near as slick as they left it.

Thanks! This is the newest car I've had so concentrating on making it as mint as possible at the moment - so far painting brake calipers silver, couple stone chip touch ups, fitted oem mudflaps and waxed. I've done a few trackdays previously at Bedford in my old 130i so definitely planning some more in a few months time! We're also taking it for a road trip to the Pyrenees to visit a friend in August. :-) I'll look out for more Grasshopper meets, that's just down the road.
