    Big end bearing failure

If you've had a Toyota main dealer service in the last 12 months it might be covered under the 'relax' warranty.

have anyone pass mot with turbo kit

If you have removed both catalytic converters you have no chance of passing an MOT.
  3. It’s very odd what was a business with a decent reputation has thrown it away like this over a ‘move’. It doesn’t make sense, I wonder if there have been personal issues or something, clearly this isn’t just a case of moving premises.
  4. I tried it with it back in, and rotating it a bit so it wouldn’t touch and I did feel the throttle response was slightly better so left it in. However I will say the difference wasn’t much to get excited about - not talking night and day here it was fractional at best.
  5. While it’s good to inform members that there are issues, that is something of a libellous thread title. I’d change it to something more accurate..

    Michelin Pilot Sport 5?

Interesting but I’d wait for feedback on the new tyre first. Michelin have previous form for downgrading tyres, remember the PS3 being worse than the PS2.

    FB and rival Club Stands

To me it makes sense they want their own stand at Japfest. There was already two existing GT86 clubs, they decided they wanted to be different so made their own club, fair enough. If you're going to the effort to make your own club, why would you then want to join existing clubs stands? It would defeat the whole point, unless I've missed something?

Try changing the url in your post from v3 to v2. [edit] just seen this post was weeks ago, hopefully you've found it by now

    Eibach springs and coilovers

If those Bilstein coilovers are using the same bodies as KW which I think they are, the fronts are adjustable for camber at the bottom via a slotted hole, so you do not need an adjustable top mount or camber bolt.

    Eibach springs and coilovers

Fitting can be straightforward when you know what you’re doing, I wouldn’t call it easy. Transferring the top mounts is a bit of a faff, can be tricky to tighten adequately onto the coil over as you may need to grip the shaft to stop it spinning. It’s an easier job to fit coil overs that come with their own top mounts. The front drop links tend to put up a fight and may need a word with an angle grinder. It’s worth having replacements ready to fit.

    HKS Supercharger - Design Flaw

Sorry, I think Mark is male. 🤣

    HKS Supercharger - Design Flaw

Because he didn't reply to you straightaway, you defamed him and his business by stating matter of factly that he knowingly sells products that are faulty. There's a reason why social media and trolling is in the news at the moment, because "people" will do this stuff with the cover of anonymity. I'm afraid "not replying to me within 8 hours" is not an acceptable defense!

Indeed. Very easy to make accusations while sitting behind an anonymous username.

Causes of brake fade on a track day

Fluid was your issue there, probably not helped by OEM pads. For track work fluid is the first thing you change. To be honest what happened to you was inevitable on a forced induction car on track with no braking upgrades. The standard brakes are barely adequate on an unmodified car on track, I wouldn't even do a day on standard fluid with that.

    In comes the GR86

Looks very similar to the outgoing model, with a reasonable little boost in performance. I notice they appear to be now using the Forester oil cooler setup.
