Hi from soon to be GT86 owner.

You prise the two skins apart and slap a bit of grease between them. (grease being the elusive goo)

My car for sale on pistonheads

It is, people are crying about an issue which isn't really an issue and all their rattles pointlessly devalues the car.

My car for sale on pistonheads

The owners are causing the devaluation by selling them lol

    Hello from tweedbean

I think if you make the jump and you boost it with a S/C or Turbo you will feel right at home with it and have more fun than you had in the JCW. Lovely cars though and it looks like you look after it!

    Hayward Scott Exhaust fitted

Unfortunately not, though Lauren has a non resonated Milltek in Manchester. Closest I can get you

    Hayward Scott Exhaust fitted

It's certainly throaty, I don't think it's too loud. I'd consider a re-map to quieten it down on the cold startups if you're concerned about neighbors in the morning.

    95 or 98 RON fuel

Shell have their own refineries, though the Stanlow refinery was bought by Essar a few years ago. Unsure how many refineries Essar have. Do BP have their own? I assume so. I will always stick with Shell personally, I go there so often, the guy behind the counter knows me.

    Driving aids mode confusion

Perhaps it's a function of the Touch & Go unit? I only have the touch unit It doesn't read texts out to me. @Riceburner, is this something new?

Was good to see you all again, don't quite know how we managed so many but it was nice to be given our own private room this time around. Is it a sign we go there too often?

    Driving aids mode confusion

    95 or 98 RON fuel

It says inside the cap to use 98 RON, though there are no issues for 95 RON as Jordan said, for the sake of £5 a tank it's neither here nor there for me.
  13. Likewise, i'm not ever getting rid of mine, it will be getting rid of me!

    Konniciwa

a re-map and good manifold would certainly "repair" the torque dip. Though it won't remove it completely.

    Project/build section

We initially didn't set one up due to lack of threads. I am seeing more and more project threads now though so perhaps you are right and one should be set up now. I'll try to get around to doing it today and migrating all the threads to it.

    Help please...

gotta admire what you're doing here, something from scratch is always nice to see. I'd love to of done some bits like this but I just don't have the free time at the mo Shame about the bubbles, can something not be done about it? I guess it's one of them things that is susceptible to temperatures and the likes? We have temperature/atmospheric pressure controlled rooms at work for Pressure Gauge calibration, i'm sure they won't mind a bit of resin in there
