Wrong, you don't need to tell the DVLA as it's only a wrap so it is considered temporary. You may get pulled over, but you only have to tell them it's wrapped

I would personally just do fronts. I had just front in all my previous cars and it sounded perfect. You don't have rear speakers in a studio you just have monitors
