indeed they are!, atleast from them..

I spoke to them directly last night and they said they don't have any left. One company has some left but too wide really. Think i'll buy standard silver and just get them coated.
-
Does this mean I need to buy the larger blower before the increase and store it somewhere?
-
18x9.5 et 40, probably slightly weightier than my current wheels and wide... Don't know what to do
-
Discontinued, but may have sourced a set sitting lonely in the USA , if not, i'll buy some plain ones and get them painted blue
-
Welcome, APR bits do look super awesome, which isn't a good thing you could potentially make me poor
-
There you go, you heard it here first! Unless you also asked elsewhere

I met up with Keith after he had his Cobra system swapped out, the Resonated system on Keith's car was still louder than my Resonated Milltek, perhaps it's Keith's car Wasn't louder by much. But if I was going to compare the Cobra and Milltek based on what I heard, the Resonated system is more on par to the Non-res Milltek in my opinion.

I'm assuming by that he means a reading over say 3-5 seconds taking a Median reading? Also thanks for the readings
-
I see, my bad, I still stand by that they should be the same lengths... lol
-
I think a subaru one fitted, a few of them have them on here Subaru Legacy IIRC?
-
Keith said Cobra practically said the pipes in the kit are not interchangeable, they would match if they were assembled on the same jig would they not? If pipes don't match up that's f*cking dire IMO... I think they are telling one story to one person here and another to another. Jay developed the Kit with cobra, not to say it is any different from anyone's but if anyone's kit is going to be different it would be his most likely. Mark has emailed me anyway, can I suggest you guys liaise with Mark with this as an argument will certainly have more grunt coming from a Tuner rather than a few random end customers. He will help you guys get it sorted, but bare in mind he also has a business to run and cannot dedicate his time solely on this exhaust issue or GT86's for that matter.
-
If pipes are different lengths it screams poor manufacturer to me... It's like buying a mars bar only to find out some gremlin in the factory ate half of it.
-
didn't you say you spoke to Tony about it? was he checking it out? Makes no sense, who was fitting it? A local bod with no clue?
-
I'll take it with a pinch of salt, even with the IC setup of the sprintex, it was a hell of a lot cheaper than the AVO setup for arguments sake. But I will admit you can probably push the turbo a little further. To say it's the worst price to performance option when it's just shy of a Stage 1 AVO and would be on par with the 70mm pulley at practically £2k less is a ludicrous statement i'm sure you will agree. Perhaps the pricing is different in the US

Keith also had this issue, how they can turn their nose up is beyond me. Jay, yours was a tester wasn't it? So it's fair to say yours is probably different to everyone elses what's different about it I don't know but it strikes me that you're the only one with a quieter one.

They are an absolute f*cker to fit to be fair... lol
-
I thought you had this all sorted what about the Subarus? They will have a right sulk on during a Toyota based day out..

Also i'd consider washing and wiping the wheels down with alcohol solution before applying, It will still bond, but will certainly last longer when there are no contaminants on them whatsoever. I know they are new wheels, but that's not to say they are clean despite them looking it. Prep them right and you should see up to 18months protection from the C5..
-
You do not use a cloth to apply the C5, 15ml will be more than enough. You use an applicator pad like below, you get a few with it so you will be fine Do go for the C5 though it's the best out there, you will use 2-3ml of it per wheel at most..

I woke up this morning looking at the weather, it was sunny outside with a few black clouds, I didn't know whether to crack on with the detail today or leave it until next weekend. Metcheck said it was currently raining and BBC Weather said it was going to rain until 3pm. Still unsure at about 10:30 I gathered up my bits to begin tackling this, my plan was initially to wash the car down, Iron-X and clay it ready for polishing. As it happened it didn't rain at 3pm and the BBC forcast said it was going to be dry for the rest of the afternoon/evening so I figured i'd carry on with the polishing. Items used: - 4 New Microfibre cloths - Karcher pressure washer - DAS-6 PRO Dual Action Polisher - Menzerna PF2300 - Menzerna SF4500 - Polishing Pad - Finishing Pad - PH Neutral Snow Foam - The remains of my AG Shampoo - Wash Mitt - 2 Buckets - Gtechniq C1 - Gtechniq G4 - Gtechniq G1 - Gtechniq G2 My first step was to snow foam the car to remove any larger bits of grit etc I then washed it off with the pressure washer lance after i'd left it for 10mins ish I then washed the car using two buckets, rinsing each panel at a time I then Applied Iron-X to the paintwork doing a few panels at a time (This stuff stinks I was gagging on it, but it works!) Rinsed Iron-X off after 3-5 minutes of curing Snow Foamed again and rinsed Back on the driveway to begin claying the entire car Car was then pretty much ready to begin the polishing... I used Menzerna PF2300 on panels that had some swirls, mainly the bonnet, roof, rear quarters and SF4500 over the all the panels afterwards. This is where I have got to, I need to wipe down with Alcohol tomorrow and apply Gtechniq C1 then prep the windows up to be done. Will put pictures up tomorrow of the finished product and some in between bits. Haven't taken a lot though as I needed to get it done! Update: This morning up at 8am, dried the car, wiped all panels down with Gtechniq Panel Wipe Polished front & read windows with G4 Applied Gtechniq G1 to windows (at this point it started drizzling during curing and i got a bit mad, but it worked) Left to cure for 15 minutes and applied G2 to remove residue from the G1 Applied C1 to all panels and shot off to the Grass hopper meet, so Images are Post grasshopper meet.

Innovate Supercharger - How cheap is this?
rob275 replied to Pitman's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Sprintex make the kit, Innovate simply market the kit in the US, they are identical as it's a Sprintex. £3400ish for Intercooled IIRC. I don't think mark even has the non-intercooled kit as it's not worth it. Not really saving anything, like Steve said, i doubt it's UK stock and you will end up with import duty also. Fitting probably isn't that had, it does come with installation instructions. Though I will admit I haven't read them!
