  1. Keith, do I owe you payment now?
  2. So 9th Feb was my first time at Brands Hatch (going round the track), this was unfortunately the Indy circuit. I'd of liked to have done the GP circuit but I guess that just gives me a good excuse to go back there? The day was organised by RMA Trackdays, which is ran by Graham and Annalese. Both very nice, Graham rather straight to the point. The briefing wasn't a pain, RMA is focused on those with track experience mainly (At this point i'm shitting it), I then get told we can overtake on either side, I think i then genuinely laid one... They are a little more expensive than other organisers but they are favoured by many due to their relaxed rules on the day. The increased costs is due to him favouring quiter track days to busy ones. I agree, it was much better and hopefully we can work on some discounts throughout the year for us guys First few laps were a bit daunting, there were a lot of Ginetta's there and even an Arial Atom. But I soon got used to it and it was a great day out. it was wet until around 11pm at which point it was practically dry. The below videos are of my car going around Brands, albeit not to perfection, it's quite a lot more difficult to Snetterton or Bedford which I had previously done due to the gradients being put in to the mix. I will update this thread with all my videos eventually.

Welcome along fella, I havent washed mine since JAE last year (September). Do what I do and keep getting mods done or crash it and get it repaired. Generally they wash it for you.

    De Badging

A blow dryer will work, I only say boiling water as it's the only thing that will get rid of condensation under the lacquer which probably isn't prominent on the GT86 but on older cars most certainly is! As Keith said, yes you should use the floss as a saw

    De Badging

get some dental floss, boil a kettle pour it over the badge. The run the dental floss behind the badge. Use tar remover or something of similar calibur to remove the sticky residue. It can take a while..

    Which front strut bar?

It looks weak in my opinion, but my opinion is invalid really... Just looks flimsy as the mounting points.

I have exactly this setup, albeit with Super Pro bushes also and a different filter. You can go S/C also so you're still open. It's worth it and you will love it. Are you just changing the springs or shocks aswell? I have the Koni adjustables aswell.

    Forced Induction

Back home from work now so i can reply more substantially! I can only say that Litchfield is a very hard guy to get hold of apparently. Not had any dealings with the guy myself but i've heard mixed things. It's although he doesn't want the business. If hes hard to get hold of, the last thing i'd do is go to him for a supercharger as if you had a problem you know what will happen... You're best off going with Adrian @ Fensport if you want a turbo or Mark @ Abbey if you want a S/C at this current moment in time. I'd suggest testing both out see what you think. Both of them trade on here so the support is next to done and both have studied their offerings extensively and know ECUTek inside out by now even though that also seems to be forever expanding! If you want a go in a S/C offering let me know To me both feel fairly similar, as Keith said the turbo is so linear it's great. S/C haves an aggressiveness to it but nothing that can't be tamed in a re-map which is a requirement anyway. The S/C is slightly cheaper than the Stage 1 Turbo offering but not a lot cheaper and if you're getting something like this done don't just go with it cos it's cheaper. Consider both options. The S/C you can safely get 300BHP out of without extensive work anything more you're looking at the Larger Stage 2 Sprintex capable of pushing 450 but that would require a re-build to some calibur. Too much power will ruin the car though. I preferred the feel of the S/C and don't particularly want to overpower the car... I wouldn't consider the HKS at this time, I think it needs further development but Jay could tell you more about it as he's driven one.
  20. I think i saw this a while ago, or was it a different dealers secret garage? Really interesting stuff

  22. Post all your pic and videos here! What an awesome day it was, and good of Adrian to pop along and offer his advice on our shoddy driving! I will sort my videos out shortly. P.S Keith, I still have your memory card... It recorded fine, do you want it back or can I persuade you with a bottle of wine or two for it?

    Essex PetrolHeadz Meet

don't worry, I have my wheels. I just mean generally at these kind of gatherings there is a select few people who spoil it for others. Doing donuts etc, I haven't been to this particular cruise but they are more or less the same and you end up just getting hassled by the ol' bill
