Check tyre pressures & fluids etc thats about it, helmet, though you can hire one. -
Welcome to the club, i'd have gone for the TEIN's myself. The Eibachs are pretty stiff for the chassis imo. But let us know how you get on!
-
I know a few people have suffered from this, I myself have been lucky in this regard.

I do wish more people would use the map! It's one of the most useful things on the forums!

Welcome to the club, doors lock pressing the 3 lines on the handle as Lauren said and placing your hand on the handle will unlock it (the drivers door only from the factory) though this can be changed. If you want it to unlock both doors then open your drivers side door and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the fob for around 5 seconds.

You only need insurance if you can actually drive your car on the road.

10/10 for Giggles. Why do things always get out of hand when someone doesn't agree with something?

UPDATE: So I dropped my car off at @CGR Automotive on Monday many thanks for the lift in to Sheffield to get the 3 1/2 hour train home. I discovered Burger King to a breakfast menu! Was hoping to pick the car up Friday so I could really get on and get the brakes fitted on the weekend as well but unfortunately due to suppliers fucking them around a bit they don't have everything to finish the manifold off. Though next week I will have it back providing nothing else goes wrong, once I have it back i'll be doing my oil change that Toyota refused to do (which is fine really as i'd rather millers in it) and get the Tarox BBK fitted. Toyota's stance on my warranty is they will look at my CEL's but if it's deemed to be caused by my mods I will pay the labour & diagnostics fee. I'm sure they will try to claim my charger has caused a coilpack issue but I don't think they are aware of the amount of GT86 owners I know who are N/A that have the problem

I agree they are pointless also. But this is based on my geographical location as even if we do get ice & snow it doesn't last for long around London. I also CBF with a multitude of wheels & tyres. It comes down to storage space & money
-
Appreciate it but sold it on yesterday No idea how I only just saw your reply.
-
Only picked it up a few weeks ago off mark but minor change in plans means I don't need it now. It's not been on so it's still new looking for what I paid for it in the group buy. Will get some better pics if you want but it's a metal pipe with a HFC on at the end of the day! £340

I tend to run mine at 31-32 so i'm sure 35 will be fine
-
If anyone in manc is up for putting me up Fri 7 Sat night i could kick around for this? I'm getting my exhaust done this week and intend on picking the car up on the Friday.
-
As @Lauren said it you really want to stay on the right side of the law then you need to have the cat in the manifold and HFC in the front pipt at the very least... However, removing one of the cats is a non-issue in the uk and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Don't ;isten to bellends on facebook which i'm sure you've picked up on. I don't liuke people that spray false info. If you take a cat out and pass an MOT job done. I'm sure @Riceburner can confirm this for you as a rep for RRG he'd do well to give you corect info. If anything i'm wrong is incorrect then fine but if you pass emissions no problem.
-
I really wouldn't worry about it, nobody does, it's not like you're losing every cat, just one.... as long as it passes MOT you're fine
-
Well they knew because I told them when they asked me, it's fairly obvious it's mapped because it's charged. Plus the programming tool is always in my glove box. Its all a bit silly really, it wastes my time and theirs.

They haven't even diagnosed my car today because it's remapped. Giving them a week then i'm calling the head office up to complain.

I can confirm they are stored regardless of whether the light is on or not. My P3 gauge displays it every time i turn the car on.

indeed, told them about mine as well. I did forget to give Toyota a hks filter though so my service is only being half done

@Ade Waiting to see what the noise levels of the new exhaust are before I book, so next weekend. @Leosille what are you doing this day? -
Oddly bumped in to @maurice at Motorline Toyota Gatwick this morning whilst dropping the car in for it's 4th Service. @Leosille I think i'm going to try and do them next weekend if you're about.
