    Cobra front pipe /w HFC

Anybody? I can confirm it looks great in bedrooms as some sort of ornament also and the welds are far superior to that of Milltek

He can't fit his new wheels properly so he's crying about them.
  7. So for the past week reversing out my driveway i'm hearing a clicking noise when turning the wheel whilst reversing. It seems to be coming from the steering rack area and the only reason i'm posting is I haven't really had a chance to look at where the noise it coming from exactly and pinpoint the problem. Has anyone had this? It literally seems to only be audible when reversing which is strange. The easiest way to describe the sound is if you get a pen and flick the clip on it. I reckon it's not something too sinister and probably one of my dodgy cable ties catching the rack

Odd clicking noise from steering rack

Will see if I can get some time to have a play on the weekend. I've not had a free weekend for like 3 months

Odd clicking noise from steering rack

Well i've only noticed it reversing at low speed out my driveway. It's not particularly loud and sounds internal. I'd hazard it's been there for a while i've just not heard it due to my exhaust but now I have the OEM one back on. EDIT: Not so sure now, wound the window down at lunch and could hear it outside. Doesn't occur all the time though.

no the wheel is only turned 90degrees tops when it occurs really. I don't think it's steering angle related.

In the process of sourcing some new wheels anyway and they will be painted Nardo Grey and my stripe will be coming off. Seems silly to have the calipers a different colour when the anodised red on them is actually pretty nice

    Hello from Manchester

Hi, Welcome to the club. Plenty of Northerners about on here, so won't be hard to get socials together. Curry coming up for example!

@Ade Yes they are solid, admittedly on the box the picture shows bolted discs similar to the website. Perhaps they have changed design or it is indeed a bit of a development kit that I have. The calipers are alumimium indeed.

So I've opened the box today and have some pictures for you all. [emoji4] Thanks to Tarox for the kit, i'm a bit busy for a couple of weeks but hopefully I can get them fitted shortly. Came with a complimentary lanyard of course, these are 326mm discs I believe off the top of my head with 6pot calipers. The discs are 30mm thick. Looks like a cracking bit of kit and hope to get them out on their first outing at Bedford in December. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk

@Ade Congratulations, a pint on me next time we meet at a drinking establishment! Waiting on a delivery time but you won't get any pics until this evening and I don't think i'm going to have time to fit them for a couple of weeks. I don't particularly feel that my GT86 needs any more stopping power as i've found my replacement DIXCEL Discs and Pads offer more than enough and generally don't seem to fade on track. But I was asked by scene media if i'd like to help with Tarox's development programme and take one of the kits and offer some feedback. So that's what i'm doing, it will be interesting to see how they compare to my current brakes. I don't think I am going to see any real increase in stopping performance but they may be better for longer track stints (IAT's permitting ) Yes @Tareim I was including myself, i'm not sensible!

    Clutch/Gearbox headache!

Most of the cars have this issue to one extent or another, i've learnt to live with it for 4 years thus it can't be that serious.
