It seems that Toyota still don't understand that all they need to do to fix the light condensation is loosen the lights a tad, it's a shame that one salesman's attitude put you off.

I know a few years ago there was issues with getting them but i'd of thought they'd be able to get in a few days now

Mine used to do that, found out that if I had Samsung SSD Magician installed (I have a Samsung SSD) it wouldn't do it anymore! Might be worth checking if there's any software available for the SSD.
