Clearly you're a fan and went to watch it

Yoko's but after your phone call with me the other day you seemed to be a bit disappointed by the wear on them. I reckon it was due to your tracking being out. I've got the Dunlop Sportmaxx RT on at the mo and they are sticky, can't really comment on wear on them thus far. Sportmaxx RT 2's are out now, could give them ago or the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's No point going budget with tyres really, they could ultimately save your life.

I appear to have missed this thread and not said hello, how rude of me! Welcome to the club I think we ought to have this Giallo at Japfest... I don't think we have any on the stand yet!
-
Welcome as will said, not an issue with pistonheads per-se but there does seem to be an awful lot of plonkers over there I've heard they tend to all stay in the same one sub-forum so 'tis not so bad.

The sad thing is they are still putting the crap batteries in the cars at the factory... Faiths new aero has the 48Ah battery lol.

Sunny here too -
Let them go @Test Drives Unlimited! Their cars are inferior to ours! Everyone knows the gt86's have far more fun

Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86

The heated seats aren't on constantly, they turn on and off to keep the temperature at a norm. So you will feel them warm up and they will seem to have turned themselves off because they are up to temp. They should be warm within 30 secs though! -
I think we all struggled with that corner to some extent, it seemed to creep up far quicker on you than it looked lol
-
bedford was the first time I actually got to use my pads properly since having them fitted and they never missed a beat either. I have Dixcel Z Type. I don't have bubbling paint though because I cba to paint them

This is the second LoT Trackday we have the pleasure of attending this year. Blyton is a bit of a favourite as not only is it part of the TSS every year, it's also a great technical. but short track for the GT86 & BRZ. On top of that, it's relatively cheap! The only prerequisite to joining up on these trackdays is that you are currently a Premium Member. If you sign up and aren't a Premium Member of the GT86 Drivers Club you will be refunded your money and your booking cancelled. Originally a WW2 airfield Blyton Park was for many years used for the odd grasstrack event, but new owners have breathed new life into the circuit. With new tarmac and plenty of grass and concrete run off Blyton is a deceptively fast and technical circuit, which can challenge experienced drivers, yet also provide a fun and safe first time out experience for novices. 1.6miles long, the track is fairly flat. Maybe the UK’s Abbeville. The day will run in open pit lane format. Directions: click here Length: 1.6 miles Noise limit: 105db static / 95db drive by 20m Format: Open Pit Lane Price: £125 Instruction: £25 Crash Helmets: £20 2nd Drivers: FREE You must bring a full driving licence which will be checked at sign on. Final instructions will be emailed out 3 days before the event In order to book on to this day click the following link: http://goo.gl/x8VJDE

trackday Club Trackday – Anglesey International GP
rob275 posted a calendar event in Official Club Events
Luckily i've been able to secure us a nice little track here, some of you may remember that we joined up with LoT last year to offer some sensible and cheap trackdays to our Premium Members. We're doing the same this year as last year was such a success. The first day on the list is Anglesey, which is probably going to be favourable for those who are doing the TSS, it may give you a chance to familiarise yourself with parts of the circuit beforehand. The only prerequisite to joining up on these trackdays is that you are currently a Premium Member. If you sign up and aren't a Premium Member of the GT86 Drivers Club you will be refunded your money and your booking cancelled. Day is being run in Open Pit Lane format and suitable for all experience levels. Directions & Accommodation: HERE Length: 2.1 (GP) & 1.55 (coastal) miles Noise limit: 105db static Format: Open Pit Lane Price: £235 Instruction: £25 Crash Helmets: £20 2nd Driver: FREE (must sign on by 8.25am and attend first briefing at 8.30am. Must also be experienced track day driver and complete the sighting laps) You must bring a full driving licence which will be checked at sign on. Final instructions will be emailed out 3 days before the event. To book go to the following link: http://goo.gl/dqovnR -
That awkward moment a car does a 1/4 mile quicker than your 0-60. But you're right @daidaiiro Lauren would give it a run for it's money because it won't be able to turn!
-
We looked at attending this event as a club, ultimately decided not to this year what with it being new and all that. We went to a new show before and it was dire. I'll leave it here though and add it to the calendar. I may go scope it out to see if it's worth considering for next year.

Assuming i'm not doing anything that day I should be able to make this!
