To be honest all the Siebon bits are a tad hit and miss i've heard. With Nigel doing it himself it should in theory fit perfectly given he's taken the mould off his car. Even if it doesn't look pretty, at least you can say you gave it a go. The rest of us are too scared! Mind you if I had a spare car to play with i'd happily give things like this a go.

Northern Meet/Open Day @ Tuning Developments
rob275 replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
@smudge I don't 100% know if i'll have my car back yet. Depends on the boats from Albania. -
Nice! I'd love some of them, it's a ballache getting a jack under. I can't get a race jack under my car at the mo. Thought they'd be more complex than that but they look relatively simple in design and function.

Standard Michelins a bit unprogressive in the wet?

I thought you gave up with the yokos as they weren't as fun? -
ahh ok that will explain why it doesn't look like it's sheeting.

Sprintex 210 Intercooled Supercharger
rob275 replied to Kodename47's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Approx 260/265 at the Hubs. It's a great charger for fast road use imo. -
@Tareim I have them, they are sitting in my room with the postage on, Lack of car is preventing me from getting to the post office at the mo! (At least with 20 odd packages) Will drop them in Saturday. Sorry for the delays

I'd say it's lost some sheeting properties but is certainly beading well Which I admit, being an apply when wet product i'm surprised about!

Little update from RT, it's slowly coming together. The kit has been cut now. If you look at previous pictured of it on my car before you can see the differences. With regards to how it's being bonded on Nigel It is, as far as i'm aware being plastic welded behind to get the rough shape then pinned on. You can see the rivets in the images.

He may have done loads of track work in his MR2 (which i'm aware of), but he may not want to bin his 86 (We've seen how easily it can be done as of recently even if you are experienced) Brakes to me are fairly useless after 10 minutes. Short sessions are the way forward, 15 mins tops really.

Now is the perfect time to unhide James' methanol thread James had his nozzle pre-charger though most who ran the sprintex in the states run it post charge at the back of the elbow. Completely different charger I know but I don't think anyone has suffered from condensation on the IAT Sensor. Which I believe is here on the Sprintex... wether that will make a difference i've no idea!

I've not driven Oulton before so in terms of tips on that i'm none the wiser have you driven it before? Obviously do your normal checks before going out on track, Oil/Water levels tyre pressures. At the very least you're going to want your VSC on. Or you'll just start shaking your head as the car seems to stop and reverse itself back around the corner (ok not quite but that's how impeding it feels) If you're on stock pads they are likely to become useless fast, though this depends on your style of braking also.

Chillismokes 86 Detailed & Sealed (Gtechnic)
rob275 replied to rob275's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
It's tacky and picks up dirt, there are far better dressings out there which don't attract dirt so easily. -

The C1 isn't really an equivalent of a wax. A wax you leave to cure, if you left the C1 to cure you would need to wet sand your entire car. It's a sealant which has the properties of a laquer to be honest. But it needs to be applied and wiped off pretty much immediately. As for the T1, i've not used it but Autoglym stuff is indeed mediocre. Most tyre dressings don't last long though. -
Replying on IE, perhaps it needs an update? IE11 works. I don't use FF, I usually use Chrome

Little update for you guys, I should have these by the weekend.
