I literally do not know what you're talking about, it currently displays EXACTLY what the old forum showed.

@Lauren it doesn't look that expensive either though. I could be up for this if others are. Can book a hotel for the Saturday night
  6. G1 - Hydrophobic glass coating (Stronger than G5 but not as hydrophobic) generally good on windscreens as the wipers would wear down the G5 G5 - Hydrophobic glass coating C1 - Scratch resistant sealant with water & dirt repelling properties EXOv2 - Synthetic sealant adding a glossy coat, long lasting and generally added over the top of C1 C6 - Dash coating, provides UV and abraision resistance I1 - Hydrophobic fabric coating L1 - Leather coating which increases resistance to wear and staining These are just the products I used on Chris' car. The majority of their other products are QD's and other general maintenance solutions like bug removers etc and top up sprays to keep the EXO topped up. But the above are all the sealants. and obviously the C5 that you've used.

For that comment, I might just book myself a hotel and challenge you!
  8. ahh yes it was pizza, damn you got spoilt!
  9. Any plumbers? Need one pronto.
  10. No that's G4, the G1 is clear
  11. @Mark-in-Stoke it is a good price, mainly because I don't need to pay for any unit rent as I just detail in my spare time from home. Plus Gtechniq details are generally expensive as if you're approved you need to stick to their pricing structure. Though you get the added benefit of being able to have the serum applied, which is far superior to the C1 & EXO. @nikndel It was wasn't it! You even got a sarnie! How's that for hospitality. @Polishingpedlar The write up is pretty bad, I could of put more effort in to it lol. But I figured people could just ask questions if they had any and make more of a thread out of it.

Not sure what you mean Ian, they show less information than our front page. Keith seemingly wants more :S
  15. For a C1 & EXO Application it'd be around £180, more if you want the seats & leather's sealed etc. Need the car for 2-3 days.
  16. You're missing my point, you said Advan made these for the GTR. So here is me assuming these don't actually come in a 17"? I could be wrong.

Keith, to see posts you haven't caught up on you can click on "New Content" http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/new-content/ It has many filters you can filter by and adds more functionality than before, though I admit the aren't in your face as they were before. I'm working on this to make things easier. As for following your threads, I don't see why? Click the "follow this" button on the top right of the threads. I think it just needs a bit of getting used to, like Jordan said.

Supagard on a used car - worth it?

It's probably worth pointing out that supaguard as a product isn't a bad sealant. It's more due to the people that apply it wrong which is the reason why it doesn't stay on for as long as advertised. I'll whack up a thread on when I done Chris' car on shortly as I was meant to do it ages ago (or he was) He documented the entire weekend he spent at mine doing his car with me. Even that went partly tits up as he was unable to stay another night! But more on that in the thread.
  21. I guess it depends on what @Nicebiscuit's definition of better is. It would in theory be softer with less road noise. But the 17's would offer better feedback. You could argue the 18's are better suited for the road than track. These are 18 simply because 17's won't fit on a GTR? (I assume)

I am going to buy one very soon!!

Hi Ben, Welcome to the club, I think you made a wise choice cancelling the VW order and going for the 86. It will be a more engaging drive and it will no doubt have hurt their reputation. Regardless of if you buy a petrol or diesel VAG, it's definitely going to affect its depreciation rate for the foreseeable future in my eyes.
