The extra can on the rear pipes acts as a silencer on this Dan. It's got a nice tone actually and isn't too loud at all.

4.55 Final Drive For Sale - £300 ONO
rob275 replied to JamesP1991's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
To be honest there are a lot of people on here running different FD's. With regards to 0-60 times I don't to my knowledge know if there are any published anywhere. The acceleration improvement obviously depends on the drive you go for, you need to weigh up practicality though. It will rev quicker and mean that on the motorway you are sitting at say 3500rpm instead of 3000 for example. Fuel economy can be affected but if you're doing sprints in particular it could be a worthwhile investment. It won't put any more strain on the transmission though, i'm sure someone will be along to correct me shortly I'll leave someone with more knowledge to add to this for you though. -

Damage to "carbon" section of rear bumper BRZ
rob275 replied to Solwood's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Heat guns are great for restoring plactics, it should in theory make it darker. Despite the damage still being there it shouldn't be anywhere near as visible. Bring it over this Saturday if you like, having a BBQ round mine for the club anyway http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/2763-robs-gt86bq-surrey-part-3/ -
Out of interest, what are you running this off and where have you placed it? Any pictures of it in the car?

Damage to "carbon" section of rear bumper BRZ
rob275 replied to Solwood's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
No it's not a wrap, sand it down a bit lightly then blast it with a heat gun for 2-5 seconds. It'll turn the same colour as the rest of it job done -
No need for food! Just bring as much drink and champagne as you can!

Hello and greetings from Essex - I'm the owner from new of a black BRZ
rob275 replied to Quickclicknick's topic in Newbies
Hi Nick, Seems the Essex bunch is growing. Definitely time for a social between Japfest2 and JAE I think! I'm willing to venture to your dodgy County if I must. Welcome to the club anyhow -
So does anyone know what the shade difference is now? The paint code used to be 37J and is now K1X. When I looked at the Blanco at goodwood I honestly couldn't see any difference!

I think the 18" wheels are only available on the GT86 Aero unfortunately! Welcome along to the Club

Tbh if they are jumping it's most likely not because they are worn out but because they need cleaning. Clean them in some diluted citrus degreaser job done. As for the gtechniq wearing out, it wears out quicker if you use your wipers, keeping the wipers clean will prolong the life of it and it should be topped up anyway.

Yeah i'm jealous of your plate, i'll buy it off you. Seeing as you are so poor but managed to buy an exhaust system

You can pick them up for £15

This is why I always check everything when it arrives. Still, they will still function correctly?

rob275 replied to a topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
Faith hired one and drove it extensively when she over in the States. Apparently she loved it at first but after a day with it she was done So I guess like Nige says, the novelty wears off! -
