More info on how it works can be found here http://www.lexus-int.com/amazinginmotion/slide/

Yeah, it's probably worth noting that it can't be used everywhere. They have laid magnets in the concrete of that skatepark to create Quantum levitation. It's basically stuck on an axis. Pretty cool, not practical in the real world just yet though!

Warranty wise, go on the basis that the part you replace will lose its warranty. It goes without saying really! With regards to insurance, as Keith says, declare everything. Most small things they won't charge more for, for example my wheels, exhaust and kit haven't cost me any more with Sky, but my Supercharger did.It hugely depends on the unsurer you are with. When it's up for renewal, consider the mod friendly insurers - Adrian Flux - Prestige - Sky Other insurers are available

86's are more common than BMW's round here!

The airbag light it always on. It's to let you know that they are active.

GT86/BRZ Drivers Club Fantasy Football League 2015/16
rob275 replied to chillismoke's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
I'm poor at footy, so i'm giving it a miss. -
They are just as bad in all honesty Nigel. Shame really

Bedford or Snetterton i'd imagine. Brands is worth a look at though it has gradients, something Bedford and Snetterton lack so they can be easier to grasp I guess and Brands can get quite repetitive As other have said, insurance is generally a waste of time. Also consider some tuition on the day

It's unlikely you are going to get it to match without blending it in. Mine is like a technicolour dream car with pre-painted bits!

I think you're taking what Lauren says a little to heart. She's already said she didn't mean to come across the way she had so just take it as advice and leave it as that. I'm not seeing the issue here

You know whats funny if most dealers are so clueless they probably wouldn't even realise lol
-
Indeed they are, they were in my previous car. Only reason they aren't in this one is because I went for the OEM Audio +. But these rainbows, coupled with a good Amp and DSP are simply mind blowing really.

I have up for grabs the following bits, I just need rid. 450cm SPL Dynamics 2x2.5mm² (Approx 13 AWG) speaker cable - £2 (Two of these lengths available) Battery Terminal Suitable for 8Gauge & 0 Gauge - £2 450cm Remote wire - £1 400cm 16 Gauge speaker cable - £2 Similar length of what I can only assume is 20 Gauge or something? - £2 Rainbow SAX 265.20 2 way components - £65 I'm not going to get pictures of the cable but if anyone is interested in the components I'm happy to put some up. IIRC These will fit the 86 without baffles (Though I haven't tried and i'd probably make some baffles up anyway if I was you)

Ok if you're going to be pedantic about it, I meant adjustable coilovers, but you knew I meant that anyway
-
Your opinion though Lauren It's an opinionated subject, from Lauren's perspective it's not doing it properly because she would only be doing it for better handling as opposed to yourself who is going for aesthetics quite frankly. In which case, you're doing it properly for a reasonable price. Ultimately though, you're probably better going for a coilover setup as you can tweak the height then so in essence you could be better off. Don't do what I done and get springs and dampers then decide I wanted coilovers. You would end up wasting moneys! And i'm sure you will get the track day bug at some point and you'll be crying for more. So in that sense, Lauren has a point.
-
Thats a bit of a pain! But I guess these things do happen. Hopefully they rectify it quickly, I wouldn't worry about it too much though. It's only a car
-
I had one leaky damper when testing on fitting, but it was replaced under warranty by Koni. I do believe that Fensport now test every damper upon arrival to ensure they aren't leaking and Koni have increased their QC on the subject. As Steve says above, the fronts need cutting. There are better offerings out there, but that said, they were good for the price.

Reverse Camera Plug and Play Kit - £75
rob275 replied to GT86Jay's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Ultimately it's a shame that clearly some kits have gone missing. But it's not as wide spread as you think, only about 2% of the shipments got lost, the industry average is above 10% and that's from real companies! Either way, please wait, Lauren has contacted him it seems- 145 replies
