How much do these wheels weigh compared to others?

GT86 BRZ Tuning Package from Tuning Developments

This is a very tempting deal. Could you supply and fit a Miltek too?- 231 replies

Presumably these are just plug and play? I sometimes see mention of a relay to fit too
-
What size did you go for?

Where are people buying there wheels from? Problem I'm finding is I see a wheel I like but finding it in the right sizes is a pain or even finding a UK supplier of Japanese brands. Enkei, Advan, Rays and Volk are on the list so far.

Found that just now. Should take me a few days to go through

The choice of wheel is massive which is what I'm having trouble deciding. All I want is a light wheel by a decent brand and is easy to maintain. Noticing some are using spigot rings but I'm guessing that would be if the wheel was too big for the hub. I've started to look through project threads for ideas but any suggestions would be appreciated

Around £1000 or less. I can get a full set of Micheln PS4 for less than £400 fitted

Lighter rather than too heavy I'd prefer. Didn't realise they were that much heavier than stock. I looked up BBS first because they are known as good wheels in the VAG community. So I'm after a wheel that 18x8/8.5 with a decent offset but weight similar or less than stock.

It's a wheel I was also considering for my Octavia as stock wheels are heavy. 11kg is about the norm. I'd like lighter but not sure what. 18x8 seems a good size, perhaps go for a smaller offset, say et35?

Looking at this system too, non-resonated as I want some noise. Eventually the manifold will be changed and loses cat so is it better to keep the second one?

Anyone have a part number and a cost for genuine ones?

Postage was the only thing putting me off. What postage did you get and how long did it take? Trying to think of another reason to go back to Japan and bring these back in hand luggage
-
Think they did but lots of things out of stock according to website

This seller on ebay has them but in Japan. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOMS-TOMS-LED-Tail-Light-Red-TOYOTA-86-ZN6-2012-04-onwards-FA20-81500-TZN64-/281936111372?hash=item41a4b3a70c:g:90sAAOSwHjNV-myV

For me it's all new because I'm used to tuning Skoda's. A quick map seeing easy gains, change intercooler, exhaust system and intake for stage 2 and my Mk2 Octavia vRS has 282bhp. Now it's a boxer and N/A tuning I need to get my head around what mods actually benefit it as it's fairly tuned already. A catback and a downpipe saw good gains on my vRS but on the 86 it's better to change manifold first? That's probably one of the first things I change. For now we'll stick with N/A as I don't want to lose the "86ness" of the car just yet plus he has to get used to RWD (came from a Swift Sport). I owned a Z4M a few years ago but this somehow this seems more playful and fun even though it's not as powerful and in mnay ways it's better. It's probably because it's limits are more achievable and it's definitely a chassis that's confidence inspiring. No doubt you'll see many silly questions over the coming days. Detailed it and got a few more coats of Collinite wax on so it's beading well now.
