Another option that I went for earlier this year was to leave oem manifold and fit a primary cat back the sound of the exhaust is fantastic with just a few pops and bangs but not every gear change. The service at td was great and Mike was a pleasure to talk to. If the torque dip does not bother you and you like using the gearbox this option transforms the car and is a pleasure to drive also no worries at mot time and a very long guarantee happy all round

Had my car now for two months and have learned so much about it from this forum. Had it not been for this thread about scratched Windows I too would have thought that the fault on both of mine was down to dirt in the Windows. The car is a 13 plate and I bought it from a jag dealer but contacted the Toyota garage who sold the car and they replaced the glass both sides. So a big thanks to Rob for the original post and a big thanks to the Toyota garage in filesystem Durham.

Made some myself last night from a pair of laces. If you drop the back seat and put a finger in where the release catch mechanism is and press the release button at the same time you will feel a wire rod moving up and down. It's about the thickness of a coat hanger. Just loop a lace around this tie it off and you can have as much or as little as you like hanging. Will see if it's ok over a few weeks then make some loops of webbing and attatch to laces.

Got a sharksfin from a company called light in the box. Loads of colours supplied with but or bolt fittings and goes over existing Arial fixed in place with a 3m pad. Looks the business and works. All for 13 quid.

Going to change discs and pads soon to drilled and grooved. The car has 14000 miles on it and the discs are lipped and also as its our only car will be looking for some winter alloys and tyres. Other than that drive it

Cheers for that smartphones and hands like shovels aren't a good combination

At 51 and a half I've gone from a Mitsubishi outlander to a lovely black 86 , the wife thinks I'm bonkers but after doing over 1200 miles in a fortnight around the north east and Scotland she's starting to come around a bit. The younger lads at work wouldn't believe that I could actually get in and out of the car and it is a bit of a knack with my knees but what a car. Never enjoyed driving as much as I have this last fortnight.
