I would agree caldecotte arms is a good location for meet, i havve organised lotus Elise meets there years ago and been to mr2 and mx5 meets there (might want to miss the mx5 owners club meet night as there is alot of them) . Car park is large and would be able to all park down one end away for general public it's also fairly well lit for evening meets. The food is ok and very cheap.

I am needing new pads all round (as the current ones have escaped into dust on my wheels after recent track day) decided to try the performance friction Z pads for the front, but they don't make a matching rear set, given most the braking is done at the front, should I just run OEM/or blue print grade pads at the rear or fit a rival brand performance pads?
-
Another member local to MK, does your car now have aftermarket smoked rear lights now? If not I saw another blue brz last weekend too.
-
Looking at photo, pad brand is Advics, think they are basically OEM or equivalent my used gt86 has them fitted too, where are you based?
-
Don't think you will need a wind back tool for the fronts (just rears), can use a small g clamp to push piston back in normally.

I like it, even the Lexus front grill that spoils the looks of most Lexus seems to suit it fairly well. Strange this isn't the new supra platform, as looks like it isn't far off power and size wise, of what would be expected. The BMW z5 version supra looks a lot smaller than this.

That does seam high to me, as said with buyer fees over £13k for something a main dealer will retail for around £14k maybe.

They got a nice track shot of mine in the write up. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/general-pistonheads/ph-silverstone-sunday-service-review/35175

Tarmac Sportz JR Wheels - Banzai/Jap Performance offer
Mikey P replied to Tarmac's topic in Tarmac Sportz
Can you get the jr19 (the ones that look like watanabe RBs) in a good fitment for the gt86, ideally for me would be 17"s 8" wide offset around et35. -
Anyone got the sizes of the white line gear box bush and does it make any difference (thinking of 3d printing something similar).
-
I have done this before, its not a track day. There is no run off anywhere so you can't really push on that much and only spend about 10 minutes on main circuit (instructor is fairly cautious too) but some of the handling challenges are good (like the plate that kicks the car into a random oversteer skid). Worth doing but don't go expecting a track day it's more like a taster in advance car control course.

I just removed the plate holder and screwed the new plate into the holes in bumper from the plate holder (think I even used the same screws) assumed this is what everyone was using surely much more secure than Velcro.

PRICE REDUCTION 2012 GT86 - Pearl White 22k £14595.00
Mikey P replied to charged's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Cars
Private sales on fairly exspencive cars are always harder as many preffer the easy finance a garage can arrange, normally a discount price to under cut dealers prices should offset this. -
