At this time of morning there should be time for a stop for club photos if people want to. Number of cars will determine what sort of route and how many groups there are so that we can run a good pace without lights and junctions breaking up the flow The event will take place early June. Meeting point will be Macclesfield. Once the final route is confirmed I will post a link to Google maps with the full drive planned. Surgestion for breakfast location are useful please. Need to open around 9am and serve a proper breakfast. The date will be fixed by this evening.

Had a great drive out this morning couple of slight issues with my GPS. And Macclesfield mcdonalds but otherwise great roads mostly empty. Dry for most of the route with rain at the end through Castleton. Stopped half way for a mini photo shoot to Will probably organise a similar event for September as there is no Tss.

Some great ideas and even better reasoning. I modded my mx5 spending a fortune only to break it on a track day. As such my lovely lady has banned me from spending money on mods for the 86. Saying that I've still managed to aquire brand new coilovers new tyres and better break pads For £0 keeps the blagging skills sharp

Right diaries out boys and girls I'm setting this in stone and placing it in a concrete bunker. July 16th meeting at 5am July 16th meeting at 5am Full route map will be posted this evening. I will be doing a recon run before the main event to check junctions and camera traps if anyone wants to come along it will be a weekday near the main event.

Looking like a slight delay and going for the second of July. My work rota is being a pig to organise around and as I'm organising the drive I'd kind of like to be there haha. Start my new job on the 3rd July so will be able to organise 1 or 2 meets a month from then on.

Good afternoon all. Hope everyone in the gtrz world is well. I'm organising a show and shine meet with the options if food drink or possibly a bbq. The meet will have a friendly competition with two categories firstly the cleanest most polished and best presented car as voted by the attending club members. Secondly the best car as chosen by the landlord of the hosting establishment. Entry into the competition will be a pound with monies going to the charity Joe halliwell foundation in support of Cry cardiovascular risk in the young. Provided the entry numbers are high enough there will be a trophy for each winner. The establishment of choice will be the greyhound Inn at Warslow near Buxton. I'm not organising a drive on this occasion but the roads to the pub are some of the best I've found. The date is yet to be confirmed in stone but will be either late April early May planning around the TSS round 2. So I can liaise with the host could interested members let me know below. Friends and family are welcome and can enter the landlords choice competition if they want. Thanks for reading and your interest.
