Can we see some photos of the kit please?
-
@L_Pearson21 is that the TD system? Mine touches too when it gets hot and metal expands. Will jack the car up at some point to see if I can fix it.

Adi, If there is a part number for that bush it will be on this graph. https://jp-carparts.com/toyota/partlist.php?maker=toyota&type=264110&cartype=20&fig=4101 Edit: Look at the bottom of the image. There is a comment that the front bush is not coming separately. At least not from the OEM.

Hey Wilson Got the same super res cat back. It touches the rear suspension on mine too. Especially when hot and metal expands. The noise is as bad but you can hear it when pulling from junctions in 1st and 2nd. Planning on taking it off the car at some point and bending the pipe a bit.

@Church the WRX STi 17" space saver fits over BBK kit as it has to clear the stock brembos I have tested it with the Reyland 330mm AP racing kit and it fits just fine with no need for spacer.

Hi all Does anyone have 25mm spacers that are not needed any more? I need to bring my back wheels out a bit. Thanks!

In the email it said it has to be printed. But I guess you can show it on your phone. -
Hi all, Have front braided brake lines for sale. They came with the Reyland BBK kit but I have fitted a HEL 4 wheel kit and these are available now. The fit standard and aftermarket brakes. I am asking for £50. Can post and will need to calculate how much that will be. They are located in Kettering.

Now sold. Please lock.

Take the dash panel off, 4 bolts and take the unit out. See if the antenna cable is connected to the unit. Check your fuses for a blown one too if there is separate amp for the antenna.

I will have the spacers bud. What brand are they? Thanks!

I will be up for this. It will make a nice trip south. We will probably drive down on Saturday, stay for the night and join you on Sunday. -
@Luke The engine was sold to Jordan as an early engine which has the thick rods but it turned out is a later engine with thinner rods, hence the failure when got boosted.
-
@Varelco you could find stock brakes weight on the ft86 forum and will be able tell you how much the CP9200 weigh hopefully this or next week. Reyland just dispatched my kit. BTW I asked Reyland to add the kit on eBay because I was not comfortable giving my card details over the phone and they did. There are another 3 sets available on eBay if anyone is interested.

Anyone any experience of Mitsubishi L200?

AWD won't help you much in the snow if you are on summer tyres. I'd probably look at the ISUZU Trooper as cheaper option too or Mercedes X class. The only advantage of the pickup over estate for me is that it is not taxable as company vehicle. I am sure most modern estates will be of decent size. -
Just ordered my Reyland kit in red. Most likely I will get Gary to fit it while the car is with RRG for the recall in May. Thanks to @will300 for the comprehensive pros and cons list. That the was the final push to say the Reyland kit is the right one for me.

I had in the past when I leave the car under the sun. Was really weird. It turned out to be a bad connection on the very left sensor. See what you local dealer can if it is under warranty. Otherwise get under the car and check the connections of the sensors. Start with the side ones first as the middle ones will be hard to get to without taking the exhaust off. The constant beep means that the system is not getting feedback from a sensor channel.

Unusual. Let me know how it goes. I was planning buying these for mine before Japfest.
-
Is that on aftermarket wheels or stock?
-
With that tyre setup the speedo will be reading higher than reality i.e. at 60 mph real speed will be 58.88 mph

I looked for a ramp hire in Birmingham some time ago and couldn't find one. The one in Coventry does not exist anymore even if it says so on the website.

I think that should be standard thread pitch. At least the bolts that connect the mid pipe and the 2nd cat originally are 8mm with 12mm head with standard pitch. Don't over think it Buy few sizes bolts i.e. 8mm/13mm head and 10mm/17mm head if you are unsure what size the bolt will be. Then just try to screw the bolt on the hanger nut by hand if it goes easily it would be okay.
-
It looks like a 8mm bolt to me. If the head size is 12mm it is 100% 8mm bolt according to the JIS standard. You will be able to find some bolts in Screwfix or ToolStation which are 8mm but with 13mm head as we use the ISO over here. Preferably look to get high tensile bolt. Also look at the attached table for reference. Hope it helps!

The easiest way to find out if a car has TPMS is by looking for a button next to the boot open button.

Hi all I am running TD turbo kit and TD oil cooler and been monitoring the oil temp for quite a while now. The oil temperature would not go over 75 °C on the motorway and probably will stay around 80 °C around town. That seems a bit cool to me and I am starting to wonder if the cooler is over cooling the oil. I have seen Will adding a plate to cover his cooler but mine is behind the intercooler and would be hard to cover it. Main idea to install the oil cooler when going FI was to keep it cool in the summer as I have seen 115 last summer on N/A engine through the mountine passes but it was okay at 90 on the motorway. Starting to wonder if I will be better off without one or even just with sandwich plate type cooler. I am open to any ideas. Thanks! Ivan
