Don't worry about the ECU. The ECU will need few journeys to learn what driving style is. Also if you are changing it by yourself I think there was a procedure on how to learn the throttle pedal's top and bottom positions. Something like Ignition ON and then depress the pedal 5 times.

Mine lasted 4 years too. It was okay when daily driving it back to work and back but it failed over Christmas. RRG Macclesfield replaced it with an uprated one as the original tiny baby was not completely up for the job.

Hi all I am trying to fit the TD catback myself. I am struggling with fitting the mid pipe to the cat. The bolts come to short. I was wondering do i have to leave the donut seal on or take it off with the TD catback? Thanks in advance!

Is it only me that found out that we got the option on our cars? It works like on the Avensis and Auris. When turn off engine just flash the lights when on Auto or 0 and they will stay on for 30 secs.

Reusing the cone gasket when fitting new exhaust
vanko25 replied to vanko25's topic in Modifications
I will be installed the TD res cat back. When looking at it, it looks it uses the cone one. Ordered OEM Subaru one and universal one for between the mid pipe and the back box. Hope I will have time to get this sorted before Christmas -
Hi all, When changing your exhaust have you reused the cone gasket (between the 2nd cat and catback) or used new one? Thanks!

Better off to do the job once and have piece of mind that all the gaskets are new. -

@Lucas@PartBox do you have any of the Mishimoto intake hoses in stock?

Sounds like loose connection to me. I don't know whether the module is in parallel to the button or in series but it could be just a cable not making good connection somewhere from all the potholes on the road

Hi all, I got my 63 reg 86 for almost 3 months now. When I got it I saw there are some chips here and there which is normal-ish for 3 year old car but today I drove in sunny weather and think they are getting more? I just took a good look and they are definitely small scratches. I only use autoglym screenshash and got brand new denso wiper blades. Do you think it will be covered under the warranty? It is not normal to get scratched that easy!

Hi Nemesis, I installed a Bose sub from Mazda 6 few months back using the std Touch & Go (MY2013). It is a active sub with low level input so I got one of them adapters Hi-Lo and soldered one of the inputs to the driver's side rear speaker (the sub input is mono anyway) and it works fine. In your case it will be probably best to tap your amp's Hi inputs from the back of the head unit. I think it was either the 6 pin or 10 pin connector where the FL and FR sp. outputs were. You can use these wire taps to do so.

Hi all, I noticed over the weekend that there is a whining noise coming from the engine bay and it increases with RPM no matter on idle or under load. It is like a supercharger noise and is quite obvious around 3000rpm. Engine is stock except the HKS drop in filter. I could try putting back the original filter in but I am more keen it is not that. Anyone experienced that before? Thanks in advance! P.S. Engine power is not affected at all. Will try to get video uploaded soon.

Just want to say thanks to Rich and his team for doing my 40k service and sorting some warranty stuff! The car feels like new again after all the liquids changed! I even got a GT86 lanyard and GT pin as gifts. The Yaris was fun but the GT is even funier
