  1. Just looked at my breakdown bill from buying my car, I got ripped off for my Aero kit for what you guys said it is worth to buy........another reason I won't be going to that dealership again. So if understood I have a lot more then I thought the kit broke into. I also assumed the bumper was the lip kit and didn't realise it comes apart Aero Kit Lip Kit (£150/200) (minimal scuff damage) Aero Spoiler (£250/300) Undertray (£50/100) Rear corner things (£150 for both) Side Skirts (£200/250) 5 x 18 inch Gloss black rims (I was going to do rim + tyre with about 400miles use) (4 x rim+ tyre+ tpms =£800/850?) (1 x rim =£150) Roughly £1700? Random Extra things I thought were part of it / stuff I got laying around Front Bumper (£80) - (has a crack in it on the underside - Fixed with cable ties #JDM ) Rear Bumper (£100) Stock Coilovers (£400 for a set - 10/11k miles) Front Drop links (£50 quid) Rear Drop links (£50 quid) 3 Bumper clips (£1) Rough £700? Anyone care to have a rough stab at a breakdown for me if I'm still barking up the wrong tree Trying to get the price list together for you guys basically P.S I also accept petrol, tickets to club events, steak dinners and pretty photos of my car to give some discounts
  2. Cheers guys, I have no idea what it all costs hence my stab in the dark at it! Remember I'm still pretty new to all this and everything seems to range price so much its like urghhh Might just sacrifice the kit to a long term storage facility until it becomes a relic I don't mint breaking the kit up at all, I just don't want to be left with a random bits at the end. Yeah Nikndel, I have been told anywhere between 200 and 400 for the spoiler, it would be comming with the fixings as well (The little plates and the bolts) I'm going for a whole set of Yoko V105's brand new in about 3 weeks. I have a driving limits day booked on the 7th Feb so will be finishing off what I have on them currently The 5th wheel comes without TPMS or a valve or a tyre (I can get these added if it will sweeten the deal for the right buyer) The 5th Rim is brand new, its still in the sealed box from Toyota! I know I will be putting two of the RIMS through the protection plan via Toyota as they have slight scratches so really you will end up with 3 shiny as hell rims out of 5 Cheers knightryder some good advice there I have never really attempted to sell car parts so its all a bit of a what the hell do I do moment. Never saw myself buying a new body kit or even modifying my 86 this time last year..... Happy to hand deliver parts around the UK to people if they are interested (always up for a good hoon and a steak somewhere!) Okay so my question would be then I suppose how much does it cost to paint this stuff/price it back into everyones market? The new kit has a whole bumper replacement both front and rear and i'd rather it all goes to a good home then sits to gather dust. Cheers man thought I would finally start to join the "non stock mod crew" so selling the kit! I don't have the OZ wheels I have the 10 spoke gloss black ones I missed the OZ wheels by about 3 months. I paid just under 31 in total for my car....the car, the kit, and every protection/service plan under the sun, and first year insurance. Sounds like I might of been ripped off (by the garage I shall not name *cough inchscape basingstoke* ) KnightRyder, I will grab a up close set of pictures of the lip kit in the light tomorrow if you interested? It has a mini bump from a hump/curb #lowlife I can always pop it through the Smart cover protection and get it sprayed up/fixed to white if needed (I have no idea what colour your car is ) If there are any other takers, I also have a set of stock coil overs and front and rear drop links (they had about 10-11k miles on them and three track days) the drop links were carefully removed by my handy self (and they have no damage like I have seen in the past across forums!) I did this sort of thing (attached picture was half done of restoration work of the rear ones) to the drop links and coil overs before I boxed them and put them under my bed.
  3. Oh i forgot to mention, its the whole of each bumper to, I dont need the bumper itself or the aero parts that stick to it (Front and rear)
  4. Maybe we shall see, this stuff is only available from Toyota and really their mark up is stupid. I have already had someone PM me about the wheels since i posted this and they are offering near book price (that's 1200 and a steak dinner of my target already if i can find buyers for everything else.....) Interested to know how much the wings went for if you can remember, I took rough prices from what I found on Ebay and via various forum posts here hence the price range
  5. Hey everyone, Thinking bout selling my stock aero kit from my November 2015 bought GT86 Aero (Pearl White) Looking into selling the whole kit as a job lot (common you stock owners you know you want to ) Spoiler, Side Skirts, Front Bumper, And rear corner things (no idea what they are called), the under tray setup, 5 x 18" 10 spoke gloss wheels - I have 4 that will have Yokohoma V105's with some tread and 1 rim on its own. I know the front bumper has a bit of minimal damage (a crack and a few wear and tear marks) and a scratch, and the undertray one of the clips is broken (its about 2 quid for a new clip) - I can post pictures of damage if people are actually interested in this. Anyone got any ideas on a suitable price? I was going to float around £2.5-3k for some thoughts?? Will consider sensible offers/open to a bit of negotiation as this will be funding some of my new bodykit. From the top of my head the kit added around £5k onto the price of the stock GT86, so that is what it was worth new.
