Due to a brake upgrade the space saver wheel I have is too small (fits fine over standard brake calipers and disc). I bought as a second hand Subaru space saver wheel but I have had a new tyre fitted and painted the wheel rim in hammerite black so it is not as in your face as the original yellow/cream. Only test fitted on the front and then kept in the boot until now. Location is just on the outskirts of Liverpool of the M62. Looking for £25 (pick up only please due to cost and size / weight of wheel) and happy to hold it here if needed until the current lockdown rules are changed.

Seems like a good time to bump this thread in the current climate, with the restrictions going out seems like a good idea to do Covid 19 polishing! Seems like a good way to view the rafters in the garage 🤔👍

It's surprising easy to access, fold the rear seat down and pull the side cover away from where the seat is. The rear seat belt bolt is accessed from below. I took the clip off which sits just under the original rear seat to make the gap bigger for the two belts then fed the harness over the top of the rear belt after bending the bracket up slightly to give clearance. Bolted the seat belt back into place and pushed the trim back into place. For the fixing at the side of the seat I just undone the bolts in the seat rails, tilted the seat forward and put a block of wood under the rail so I could access the seat belt bolts. All would have been done in about 20 mins if I didn't drop the rear seat belt bolt and have to left the rear seat up to get it back! Either way if you don't fancy it yourself it's not difficult so should cost a lot in labour.

That's what I was thinking but I know I was car no 1 based on the registration sticker. I agree though 57 seems far to low!- 231 replies

GT86 BRZ Tuning Package from Tuning Developments

Thanks for the service at the weekend Mike. Here is the photo of the passed noise test from Oulton park with the EL manifold kit, map and TD resonated cat back system on. Not sure if the 57 is the result as it sounds louder than this to me, either way no issues with being allowed on track!- 231 replies

Eincar unit installed, usb splitter cable used to add an extra connection in the glove box and keep the standard one functional for charging. No complaints with the unit itself so far after a couple off trial runs out (still getting it set up to my liking). Biggest issue was the mounting brackets where miles off and needed some work to make them fit (nothing a bit of cutting and drilling wouldn't fix)

Found myself tempted by the thought of the functionality an Android head unit can offer. Anyone with one already fitted in an 86 or experience / recommendations of good head units and what to look out for?

Thanks for the info everyone, based on the cheap price of the eincar unit I've decided its with ago. Just need to pick up some harnesses and brackets for a double din unit and will see how it goes

Anybody got any experience of something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01FX8RCRW/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_107_of_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G6D2XECEHQ9WZH91FXE5#featureBulletsAndDetailBullets_secondary_view_div_1488924040719 Any idea if there would be any fitting issues?

Hello all, looking at doing my first track day this year and was wondering what (if any) tools people take with them for the just in case events. Comments from "nothing I just turn up" through "cable ties and strong tape" up to "spare can full of complete garage, jacks and ramps and personal mechanic etc". Also wondering what people do with the tools if they take them while they are out on track? Many thanks

Hopefully I will get chance to head over after work to see what's happening, get a better understanding of what's involved and get to meet some of the club members

Interesting stuff. Seems basic items and common sense (which is often the easiest thing missed and obvious in hindsight after an issue). Many thanks

Done some modifications as soon as the 1,000 miles clicked over, TD EL manifold, overpipe and res cat back exhaust, k&n drop in filter with ECUteK ecu mapped by TD. TD fast road brake kit. Powerflex rear gearbox bush and MTEC shifter springs. Couldn't recommend Tuning Developments enough, car feels, sounds and responds much better IMHO (bye bye torque dip) and service was fantastic. Plan next is just to enjoy it and get some more miles on the clock to see if I feel suspension upgrades would benefit me. Hopefully get to the TD open day in April to see some of the other 86's about.
