Have you fitted any of the plumb back setups yet @Mike@TD.co.uk ? Has it had much of an impact on the power? -
Great, I've not sold anything here before so hard to know what is mandatory and what isn't without any information. Much clearer now!

Selling my Touch and Go unit with Sat Nav Module as I've replaced it with a different head unit. It is the head unit with the extra Nav component but you will need a new GPS aerial for it (can be had for £25 ish on ebay and sits up under the dash) I'm looking for £250 + Postage Item is located in Cheltenham Cheers

Sorry I didn't realize they were mandatory I will get a pic up ASAP, are there rules in a post somewhere, I can't see anything?

Finally managed a ride in a TD Car a while back and absolutely loved it but I think the screamer pipe might be a bit harsh for me. Is there any possibility of having the wastegate plumbed back in? -
Ahh thats what you said, I misheard you on the phone. I'd have sounded a little more impressed if id realized its the Fensport car!

Will take the UEL depending on how we can arrange collection/delivery -
Thanks all, was great to see everyone. Thanks to S18 RSG for taking me out for a spin, was great to finally get a ride in a FI car. Thanks Lucas for the ride out as well, definitely need to sort out my excess or rear grip after seeing how fun the car is on narrower rims.

I'd be very grateful if any of the forced induction people would take me out for a quick ride, especially the TD turbo.
-
Thanks for the write up, those LCAs really are beautiful. How does the resonated TD system/manifold sound compared to the old miltek?

Perrin 2.5" Resonated Catback exhaust

They are very popular in the US, have a look on ft86club. By most accounts they sound great and work well but obviously they aren't cheap. -
Best detailing products from peoples experience?
Adam9 replied to cropzy's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
What colour is your car cropzy? Also for hand polishing Autoglym super resin polish is a classic and hard to beat but it does act as more of a glaze than a polish. -
Sorry to drift slightly off topic but how come you are moving to the TD exhaust Lauren , just fed up with the Milltek weld failures or are there performance/noise reasons?
-
I'd be in for this one, put me down please.

Looks great, a video would be good if you get a chance so we can hear it too.

Get a couple of bits of scaffold board or thick plank and roll the front wheels up onto it before jacking, it will give you plenty of extra clearance.

If the OP hasn't been here in 2 weeks I think the thread is fair game..

I'm giving the TD Turbo conversion some very serious thought and I'm interested to hear peoples experiences with exhausts and volume on Turbo 86s. I understand they generally reduce the volume but how much so? What options are people running and if you had the exhaust before the turbo what was your experience with the volume and sound changing?
-
Terrible luck, really sorry to see the car looking like that. Hope things work out OK

It's really not a big deal, just take your time and don't panic when you need to use a bit of force to pull the door panel off of the poppers. there's a little lip you can get your fingers under at the bottom of the panel on the hinge end which is a good place to start.
