I am running about 300 per ton, based on 330 bhp at the wheels dyno proven, circa 360 at the fly and 1200 kg. Driving on the road main issue is traction bit that's been resolved with some wide good rubber. On the road you have to hold back most of the time and it's rare to be about to go WOT. On the track it's perfect and the chassis doesn't feel overwhelmed with the power given the right supporting mods. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

I have been waiting what feel a long time to post this, I have been wanting a GT86 for a few years now but always wanted a boosted one... Loved the cars but go to the point were I was sat with a rotary with low compression and I had run out of love, so with a heavy heart I broke the car with the mindset of getting something newer but just as fun.... Loving the car and it was well worth waiting for!

Hopefully this stroker kit will prove the rest of us wrong mate. To put it into perspective, both my FA20 engine with the stroker kit and my Mrs' RX7 went bang last year and are in the process of some major engine overhaul. Looks like the house purchase is on hold until 2017...maybe 18 [emoji38] Ouch, hope they get sorted. I have to be honest I was lucky with my RX7. Worth looking into premixing if you haven't already. Who maps your Mrs's Rx7 btw?

Indeed I know all the history and not just with my car. I really want to avoid people's conjecture which I have seen many times on car forums, I expect you can imagine what it's like when I used to own a RX7!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I know the car has some history and others have had issues with the HKS kit. Frankly any car with nearly double the stock horse power is a gamble, I know that, it's the game we are in. Anyway.... Yeah it is his old car. I will track the 86, I had too much fun in the RX7 on track not to do the same with the 86. RX7 had more power but was a large single turbo, will be interesting how the two cars compare. So far I am loving the 86, very similar to the RX7 in the way it feels and drives, not as raw but thats not always a bad thing....
