Yep, Saturday night. If we want a table in Wilmslow, it will need to be booked, but there are a number of options. Miller and Carter too as well as CAU.
-
It looks so brutal seeing it being straightened out. Still it will be looking better next week.

Are people still up for this? Geting close!

I've got one that has done zero miles if interested.

Hi there and welcome aboard from far, far away! Always great to see the perspective of other owners from around the world. We don't get a spare wheel in the UK, though a few have put one in their car. We just get tyre foam and an air pump. It sounds like the spec of your car is very similar to the UK. Many of us have the leather/alcantara heated seats as an option. Do you have any plans for the car in terms of modifications? And perhaps for my curiosity, is it easy to get aftermarket parts where you are?

I can't think of any.

Wow that is very impressive Keith! When I saw it on FB, I didn't understand what was going on, but this must be the ultimate simulator setup. I love it that you've done it on the GT and your actual driving position. Briliant.

I do like my Alpine head units. Granted not cheap, but very good. I have had one of these along with a custom pro-install of everything else for three years now. 85K miles and still going well, navigated the Alps twice. All good. http://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/navigation-systems6/ine-w925r

Hi Mark, Really sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it for the drive out. I just feel I've already doen enough driving this weekend. Have fun.

KPGC10 as it's known. It's the Japanese tradition of describing cars by their chassis number. Well used examples of this are, 'AE86', FD3', 'DC2' etc. This car is also known as the 'Hakosuka' which roughly translates to 'Box Skyline'. I prefer the KPGC110 myself, but it's a subject of much debate it seems.

Stock sizes so 7.5" I would have thought.

It tends to come up if you really drive it hard and shift just before the limiter. Mine did it, got it changed under warranty as a precaution. Alec went through a few of them.

Looks like Supercar Siege has moved to Brands Hatch and is now on the 8th May.

I guess if you can get some interested members quickly enough you could contact Leeds Castle and see if you can make it a go-er. It's the day after the TSS though which will affect numbers I would say.

I think the oil temp of the Torque App is it's one very useful function. I did a bit of testing three years ago at a very hot Donny where it was 35C. Found I was getting oil temps at 125C after a couple of laps, so found it best to ease off down the straights. Interestingly it didn't seem to really get any higher though.

Congrats. Both cars are the same save for the noted differences, so same issues apply. The Subaru WRC blue is just a lovely colour. I think the only thing I'm really not keen on is the cheaper dash dials in the Subaru, but small details really.

Come along to Blyton next weekend. There's an easy specatating spot, a nice cafe and loos all nearby. See you next Saturday.

I'm staying at a friends in Warrington the night after the sprint so no chance of making this at that time I'm afraid.

It's not really an issue with regard to the warranty as such. I think Toyota are more flexible when it comes to the warranty than people think. But, I will say YMMV depending upon your dealer. For example I've had RRG Macc fit all of my mods bar the remap. I've had no issues with warranty claims but there have not been that many in the 85K miles I've covered. Know what you mean about the MR2. SW20's are very tricky in their chassis balance. I've got an AE86 as well which is a bit easier to balance. But the joy of the GT86 is it's chassis and balance, it's light years ahead really. A decent set of coilovers moves things up a level too.

Japan Racing JR3 - 17 x 8 ET35 PCD 5x100/5x114
Lauren replied to Knighty's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Just checking (as it wasn't mentioned) but are they 5x100 for PCD? -
Welcome aboard. I'm a director of IMOC-UK so I know MR2's well. Preferred the MK1 myself though. Good luck with the new car, that's some wait though, bet it will feel like a long time. Any plans for mods?

If you're going to be stuck here for a bit, might be better to be somewhere with things to do? If your friend is coming, certainly Manchester gives you more options.

Sounds good, Steve. Or we could go to CAU in Wimslow? http://www.caurestaurants.com/book-a-table/wilmslow/ But happy to go back to Jolly Thresher, just hopefully no singer is on! Where are you staying?

I didn't change my droplinks, not had an issue.
