Yep, go to someone doing the ECUtek remaps and get it on the rollers etc so it can all be done properly. Mine's at Tuning Developments as we speak having a remap! 9bhp gained so far, fingers crossed more to come!
-
This is surely going to be the same on the GT86, but interesting nonetheless! I've merged Deacon's thread into this one. Let's please try and keep one thread for the 2017 update.
-
Good stuff. Will be interesting to see what mine makes today without the benefit of a manifold. Technically all being the same I ought to be 4bhp down on you as mine is 201bhp without the remap. But, we shall see.

GT86 Turbo Kit & BRZ Turbo Kit from Tuning Developments
Lauren replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Sounds like I need to have a go tomorrow. -
Haha! Brilliant. And good luck with the purchase on Thursday.
-
Yes, sorry and welcome btw!
-
Wicked stuff, look forward to catching up next weekend at the TD meet.
-
I would say the easiest way is to use another email address. I.e., Ashley you use your's and Anita uses her's.
-
Yep, but they didn't get it.

Some idea, (though not much) of the interior, looks like a base model though:
-
Pretty sure it was from Adrian, but that was some time ago. I did spend some time with Matt from Cosworth too. It was what they were really angling for, but it didn't happen. I wouldn't expect that to change.
-
They won't factory approve the Cosworth version. It will never happen. Cosworth have already tried. The Mountune kit on the Fiesta ST is just a mild upgrade to a car already with a turbo. The Cosworth SC is quite different in this respect, I would expect that's why.

Managed to merge the threads! Phew!

I think it's pretty much always the case that people say they don't like the look of mid-life changes until they get used to them. The rear lights do look good though, much better than the Valentis. Toyota don't get the whole wheel thing, as they always put too much offset on. But who keeps the stock wheels really? I think a better interior is much needed, it's always been too downmarket for the cost. I'd like to see pics of the interior though. Also just to add there are no problems with relfections from the instrument binnacle if you wear polarised sunglasses which is an absolute must when driving in sunny weather, so I've never understood why that is an issue.

Welcome aboard! There's a meet on at Tuning Developments near Warrington on the 27th March if you fancy it:
-
Wow it's going to be mega Adam. Love the wheels too.
-
Well done, Don, at last! I expect Richard has a full list of parts that you simply have to have.
-
Ah I see, forgot about that! Though his isn't.
-
Good work! Am I right in thinking that you've ditched the primary cat, but kept the second?
-
Front foglights are a funny one and I guess why people haven't done much with them, is because they are hardly ever on, so whatever bulbs you put in are never going to be actually on. Well, maybe five minutes a year, by my estimation.
-
We believe you, Debbie. Just don't let Kev post any of that private porn!
-
Good stuff. No idea, sorry on the exhaust as I didn't fit mine. Someone should know though. So are you getting remapped next Saturday? I'm in on the Sunday.
-
I think all you can Eddy is look at other cars with a Seibon boot fitted. I'm not sure if expecting OEM shut lines for such an expensive part is realistic, but IMO they don't fit like OEM panels do.
-
Top mounts as Keith said, also the bolts for camber adjustment. I would say if it's making a right racket it must be prettty loose somewhere. Check torque on strut to hub bolts and all that stuff. Basically anywhere there is a bolt.

I've always had the issues of changing down third to second at the end of my road, first thing in the morning. It's much the same if I stop and select first. I find I generally have to have a couple of attempts to get it in gear. But after that, it's fine. It tends to be a bit less of an issue when the temperatures warm a bit. But I think everyone pretty much has this. Whilst I get it's an annoyance every morning on the way to work for the once or twice it happens, I think all you can do is live with it. It's fine after all once it warms a little.
