Looks good, any fitment issues?
-
I wasn't overly keen on the red either, but in reality, I care little about such things. Function over form really. It sort of matches my red wheels and all that. But I far prefer it over the stock bigger wheel.

Having used a 350mm wheel for two years now, whenever I drive a car with a stock wheel I really notice it. I've been pretty happy with this one. £225. To me having the slightly smaller, chunkier wheel made more difference than I though it might. http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_108/Category_9/4820

Can you please sort out your text? -
It's probably too late now, but I would go for a 350mm wheel over the stock 360mm. It's far preferable and the slightly smaller size aids agility I feel.

Interesting, but does anyone really go to spectate at a track day? I guess if you could get passenger rides in some exotics, it could be more of an experience. https://grrc.goodwood.com/race/on-track/saywell-international-track-day#WrLRmUJvyjssvfdF.97

If it's any help, Ian, I'm having mine remapped at Tuning Development on the 20th March, obviously I will report in my project thread on how it all goes.

The answer is, not very good compared to the V105's: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Yokohama/BluEarth-AE01.htm Any reason why you want to fit eco tyres? V105s: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Yokohama/Advan-Sport-V105.htm You can check out speed ratings through the Yoko website.

Just check your tyres pressures regularly, Nigel, way easier I think! Plus from what I've seen from courtesy cars, the low pressure light is often on, so they are a bit of a pain anyway.

Welcome, I have seen you about before, though I have been on Pistonheads, it's been years since I've posted. I tend to look at it more when people post links to it. But I have no problem with it.

She would be more appropriate! Ah okay, I missed that earlier post!

That sounds alright, but it's hard to understand how you can have a remap done 'remotely' without actually doing it on your car. All of them differ slightly, so you'd think that you'd need to do it on the actual car, live, to get the very best out of it. Introducing various mods into the equation, simply adds more variables, surely?

Just a tip, but I generally drive most of the time in VSC sport mode. However, if I know I'm going to likely need to turn right out of a junction quickly, I also turn the traction control off (one press on the traction control button which is the left one) as otherwise the traction control will curtail a quick exit. The traction control will come on again when you exceed a true 50 km/h. The reality of VSC Sport Mode though, is that it does allow a little slip, but really not very much. The car is far better with everything turned off, but obviously you need to know what you're doing. If you're going fast down an A or B road, then it's fine generally in Sport Mode as you don't want much slip anyway at higher speeds, at least not on the public road. But at lower speeds it's more of a pain.

Looks nice, but as others have said, let's hope it fits okay.

Anyone else had chance for a play in the snow?
Lauren replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
Yeah, I know what you mean, though my only benefit with winters on was doing 70mph down the empty snow covered lane on the Silk Road for a mile and a half last year. It was good for that though! But I really missed having less grip and less feel as soon as the temp was over 9C or so, where they really seemed to suffer. The last two winters have been very mild though. -
They work really well, bet you can't wait to get it lowered now though! For some reason the moment you fit aftermarket wheels the car always looks too high!

Yes winter tyres would have been useful and I decided not to run them this year as I had done for the previous two years. But for one day, I survived and I'll bet we don't see that much more snow around Manchester. -
Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86
Lauren replied to remal's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
They should feel like they are warming within a minute and a half or so. That's on the rapid heat setting, pushing the button down forward. When itgets warm, then flick it back to maintain a more constant heat as otherwise it will cycle on and off on the rapid heat setting. One of RRG's demo cars, the White TRD (Neil's now), didn't seem to get as hot as mine, he has the full leather too. -

I had to head over to Hyde today and had to re-route the sat nav due to a road closed by snow! Needless to say it was getting to the serious point up there as soon as you left the slush covered main roads. I very nearly got stuck and it took me a good ten minutes to get out and turn the car round and accept that no way could I risk parking in 10cms of snow as I'd never escape. This mean driving back down the road and parking in a load of snow in Asda's and trudging up through the snow to where I was trying to go. Was proper tricky. -

Nearly got stuck in a school car park in Manchester. Had to turn everything off and give it some welly to escape. I'm sure the students enjoyed that! -
Church, wear polarised sun glasses and you'll get no reflection.

I wonder if it would have been better to just mention where you got them from in your own thread, if that's what you wanted to do, rather than create a for sale post for a trader unbeknown to them?

I didn't tick that option.
