Thanks, first time I've done it, so reckon I can work on a whole load of things. Can't wait till next year. I've not really seen much rallying before, but I just loved it yesterday. Bring it on! :)

    Marks Mods

Great stuff Mark would love to try it, or maybe I should persuade Mike? ;)

Here it is! https://youtu.be/1vEGziUmRPQ When I watch it, I see loads that I could have done better, but that is always the way. Happy enough as I've never done this before. Hopefully I will get a chance to do some more.

    Pitman's Toyota Sprint Series car

That's an incredible effort for a Yaris! You're as bad as Nigel when it comes follies but I do hope (and the same holds true for Nigel) that you get it finished! :)

Thank you. I was driving around my camera man all day. I think he rather enjoyed riding in my car. Some fabulous, though crazily narrow roads around the Grizedale area of the Lake District!
  8. Certainly worth a watch.

    Rally presenting news

Well, I had a fun day today. I was a little bit anxious, thinking what do I say, but just told myself, 'talk to them!' This seemed to be a good strategy, though proof will be in the pudding of course, but I found it pretty easy and found putting a microphone in front of someone, simply made them talk. No worries then! Lots of rushing about from service area to service area followed, catching up with the drivers after every stage or two. It was hectic, but good fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the half an hour or so we had on stage four in Grizedale Forest. Seeing a MK2 Escort spectacularly sideways and then catching up with the driver at the service area, to have a natter. Great stuff, just loved it and getting to know the drivers helped me feel part of it.

    AUTOSPORT 2016

Autosport does get a bit samey. Went in 2002 on the public day and then was working there for 2004, so saw the trade stuff and it's less packed so way better, but it's always the same really.

I only came in for mudflaps....

I think you might be tempted by a more 'manly' exhaust whatever that is. ;)

    TSS CADWELL

A big thanks, though for going slow for me and letting me win. Are you tempted to race in a smaller class with the turbo lot then?

    AUTOSPORT 2016

Though Saturday is public day, the Friday is the best day as they have all the engineering stuff out if you're into that and can get a ticket for that day.

    AUTOSPORT 2016

Surely you must know about the annual Autosport show, normally second week in Jan at NEC.

    Nigel's Daily Driver.

Shame there's no Panda 100hp equivalent anymore though. That was the one really.

    AJ's GT86

That's cool, though I think the standard steering wheel is too big at 360mm. 350mm is preferable I have found. Still perfectly possible to cover a 350mm of course.

Same again next year then, Kev?
  19. I have heard that RRG Macc' have a fix for the chirpy fuel pump. A modified unit is now available. Contact Richard (Riceburner) for details.

Cheers, all, exciting stuff and all from a fairly random message from a friend of mine on Facebook! Looking forward to this weekend, I'm going to be busy, lots of interviews to do and also need to think about a bit of a script for the intro! Busy, busy! :)

    Project MangoNo5

I think a square setup is the better option. Not sure how wide you went on the wheels. 8-8.5" 215-225's would be best bet. 235's will be okay, but you'll want an 8.75" rim really.
  24. I've no idea, not had the problem myself.
  25. LOL, I've never heard of anyone going to the airport for lunch!
