I generally find that the rear screen clears itself in the rain as long as you get some speed up.

Oops! Saw the blades of the compressor and thought, 'oh it's a turbo!' An SC will make it louder as you get that whistle out of the tailpipes.
-
A turbo quietens an exhaust, so it shouldn't be too bad.

The air recirculation does not tend to come on in the winter when heating the car, but in the summer it's always on for a while when cooling in auto mode.
-
I think sometimes it happens, but it's really nothing to worry about.
-
I wouldn't as it will transmit continously and possibly drain your battery.
-
Excellent! What number is it?
-
You forgot the important details like mileage and service intervals. Also what area you are based maybe useful to add.
-
I run mine with the AC on constantly through the winter as otherwise it will just mist up. Don't forget if you're wet and get into the car you introduce water and hence moisture into it which contributes to the effect. I don't seem to have this issue though when it's warmer and drier.

The trouble is, Lars, there are so many variables that what one person pays will not necessarily give much of an indication. Costs range from £200-1200 or possibly more for some.

Such impressive attention to detail! That would scare me taking a gearbox apart. Interestingly my gearbox is pretty smooth, though north of 52K miles certainly helps here.
-
Yep, looks familiar! That will be bigger than an 86 steering wheel.
-
I expect it helps the shift to feel better.

11k is nothing really. I wouldn't worry too much. I was told I had used 15% at 10k service so it's probably about right. I'm light on my brakes though. Even if you're the last of the late brakers you'll get North of 20k.
-
How many miles have you done, Nick? I got nearly 40K out of my stock discs and pads.

Norfolk Police guidelines on vehicle legality.

Yeah, I checked out on the Yokohama site (at least) and my stretch is well within spec, so no worries there. -
I find it's okay with a helmet, just. My head is just off the rest with a helmet on. I've not felt a need to turn it around, though I think a few do.

I think all the gearboxes have this issue at least to some extent, though I do wonder since having the Whiteline gearbox mount in my car that it makes it easier to push it in to second gear when it's a little stiff. But as I've said before this is for most a very minor issue really.

Welcome aboard, Steve, as Rob said the first Gialla in the club! We will have the meets starting again in the new year, kicking off with Autosport in a couple of weeks, if that's your thing.

Italy has the worst drivers I've experienced.
-
I think everyone experiences it. Really it's just the nature of the car. I find that after a couple of minutes it's fine. If I want to get it in cold, then I may take a couple of goes. But it's not that bad really, it's changing down from 3rd to 2nd that is the issue rather than changing from 1st to 2nd. In the UK, it's not often freezing, so I'm guessing for you it's more of an isuse. I wonder if there is a cold weather gearbox oil option?

Yes, I know, though I wanted Mark to get the side stripes on. For various reasons it hasn't been done yet.
-
I reckon they'll be good fun. I've had mine 18 months, but still haven't run it yet! Am still waiting for Mark to paint the shell. I've even got a working light kit for it. Mark cut the shell out, so it's ready, but I think the painting is pretty hard to do.

The trouble is, FM is just utter rubbish in comparison to digital for sound quality. I've not used FM at all since I had DAB.

Nick, it doesn't fade out, it's either there or it's not. There are plenty of dead zones around and if it's on your commute then it will be the same everytime. Most drop outs are not for long but there are a few really bad ares, like the Staffordshire Moorlands for example.
