Welcome! That's a good contrast with the white and black. Not quite sure about the wing vents but it adds to the look.

I have tried The T1-R's before. I thought they were crap. Really too soft on the sidewalls. Tbh, I seem them as a budget tyre so I wouldn't consider them. I'm not trying to be a tyre snob, but fit the best tyres you possibly can, it's something I wouldn't scrimp on, it's ust not worth it.

Table booked for 7, I'm guessing being a Thursday night 8pm, they'll be fairly flexible should the numbers change a little.

To be fair it's always been pretty pointless.

There is loads of parking behind the restaurant, has a big car park to be fair. Indian and non-spicy? Yes, they do some tourist dishes like kormas and the like.

Okay slight change to things due to unforseen circumstances. Keith is staying at the Premier Inn in Heald Green now, so we're going to go to Sangam Heald Green. It's part of the same chain that Richard was looking at booking in Bowdon. http://swadeshrestaurants.com/index.php/indian-restaurant/sangam-heald-green It's been a little while since I've been here but I fancy a change from the Viceroy and I think the menu allows for a bit more variation: http://swadeshrestaurants.com/images/menus/sangam-heald-green.pdf I'll book a table for 8pm, we'll try and get there for 7.30ish. So who's coming: 1. Lauren 2. Mark 3. Mark's mum, Diana (she's over from Spain!) 4. Keith 5. Richard (tbc) 6. Paula (tbc) 7. Mike 8. 9.

Sounds like you need to start to practice saying, 'Love you long time'.

A really interesting thread, thank you. It looks like you're really starting at the beginning with the bushes and subframes, great attention to detail!

Dave (Pitman) makes a fair point and when I saw the prices I was suprised at them too. Normally however I don't comment on what people think they are going to sell stuff for, but it's no wonder you're struggling. A lot of the stock parts are basically nearly worthless and you may be better just keeping them. For example I have a stock exhaust that came off the moment the car was driven from the transporter and into the workshop. It has done zero miles yet It is worth nothing. It might be worth selling in ten years time when stock exhausts fall apart, but at the moment I've just kept it because I doubt I could give it away. TRD parts prices for the exhausts are very expensive but once it's not brand new and out of the box the value plummets, plus there are arguably far more desirable exhausts around. I hope you sell your stuff but realistic prices would help.

It would be better if you had just copied and pasted that entire post into here really.

Okay a few quick pics taken on my phone this morning when it arrived unexpectedly: This is the Aero Kit model which is basically the top spec GT86 apart from the limited edition Gialla which should be arriving soon too. The interior features a new design fascia panel: Full leather, this is an option though it is featured on GT86's from 2013 on: 18x17.5 OZ Ultralights shod with Yoko Advan V105 92Y (lower load rating) tyres: Outside the workshop at RRG Macc' with my car (lights on) on the ramps: A new button has arrived! This is for the tyre pressure sensors but I'm not quite sure how it works:

Oi, Will! I don't think you can really talk can you? I've got a fair few more pics, as it arrived.

Mark and I will be coming. Probably come straight to the restaurant though as no way we can get to Altrincham for 7pm as a rule.

How long do you plan to keep your 86/BRZ?

It's a difficult one, Nigel, I feel for you. I have knee problems myself which will only get worse. I know you won't buy the BMW but 8 speed DSG, could be a lot of fun and a great chassis and tons of power with a decent interior to boot. I admit if or when an M2 comes out it would be seriously tempting, though I admit I've always loved the M3. -

There is also the Focus ST (not bad) and of course the Clio RS, though that hasn't received the usual stonking reviews that RS cars get, but on the other hand there is the RS Megane 265, though not a four/five door unfortunately. -
If you're a real 'driver', by that I mean someone that really does want to extract every little last bit of performance out of the car and you love a really nice handling balance that is malleable, then the GT86 is for you. If your preference is for cruising around and traffic light GP's then I daresay something else might be a better option.

James, yet again you seem to have an unerring knack for upsetting everyone. I think this is because for the most part you don't have the knowledge you think you have. You haven't proved anyone wrong with your water/methanol injection (its not'meth' btw and we are not American). It gave a small but significant gain, that is all. But then to claim that it now cools the oil as well is just absolute rubbish and that is, I think your problem, you just for some reason are unable to take any critique, you then take it personally and the next thing you are making threats. This will not be tolerated. I'm also not impressed with your conduct. Very unprofessional IMO.

I reckon straight orange would give the boldest look, but intersted to see what you come up with!

Well, it doesn't even do well in reviews. You can't be suprised that it's perceived as a poor choice when there are so many better cars out there. -
I would also state that no matter how hard you think you are able to drive on the road that it won't compare to 15 minutes of lapping a track at high speed in respect of oil temperatures. Even if the SC does push oil temperatures up, I still would be suprised if it's an issue on the road. I haven't seen over 125C on track (Donington 35C air temp) and I can peddle hard if I want to. Also I simply do not understand (if someone can explain) how cooler inlet temperatures will reduce oil temperature.

That's not bad at all to be fair.

I think the 370z is from what I understand a bit of a 7/10ths car. If your driving is not really pushing the limits of the chassis it's a good choice providing you aren't too worried by fuel economy.
