Croque Monsieur and Latte refill at Starbucks Corley Services I think! I've got to clear the M6 before the rush hour. Will be leaving with Indy before 5am! I should add, I picked the car up today. I'm just absolutely exhausted from work though, so will just cruise down to Fensport and spend tomorrow setting it up. Richard put it on a mid setting, but I found on the way home slackening it off a bit really helped the ride quality and I was tired so wanted comfort. Lots to learn, so tomorrow will be a school day!

Very good, maybe we should all get them?
-
So which ones are these? Valenti?
-
Okay, news back from Fensport. Tony wants me to arrive around 7.30am so I can get breakfast ready for them when they turn up around 8.30am. Yukiko is coming about 10am. So I will be leaving at 5am to beat the traffic as it's only 173 miles from Manchester and I know how much Tony likes his breakfast.

Dave, can you please stop showing off on my thread!
-
A little vid, once again with Mark's favourite tune.
-
Yes, Dave, I will certainly try to. Will be interesting to note the differences.
-
Wow, it's amazing what a difference a relatively small drop in ride height achieves! 25mm drop front and 21mm rear. Also nice to see the shiny new hardware in place, cannot wait to get this setup!
-
Glad you got it sorted, fingers crossed!
-
Brilliant! So are you going to be tweaking it a little?
-
Once you have a decent system in, I wouldn't use bluetooth at all. A connection is best for sound quality. Once you put the sub in, you can put the high pass on and take a bit of work out of the front speakers for bass. Are you going to setup the DSP or are you getting Tim to work some magic?
-
Looks good. Same front component setup as mine by the looks of it. If you haven't it's worth dynamating the doors. Also the boot floor of course if that's where the sub is going. Are you using the sub that you already have?

There's a few jobs to do, Keith. The exhaust manifold needs to come off again, there's a leak at the cat which we'll need to make a gasket for and we want to change the bolts for studs so as to prevent any potential cross threading issues. New battery. Exhaust manifold needs wrapping on the primaries again as otherwise the heat melts the dizzy cap. Oil the K&N which is a two second job with oil spray. The timing marks need painting on the crank pulley so I can time it up. I think that's it and then it can go for MOT. If Mark sells that bloody MX5 of his then he can drive around in the AE over the summer which will be a good way of getting it out and about and run in.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I just don't understand that sticker next to the petrol flap. Isn't that much the same as the sticker inside the flap? Though the one inside the flap says '98', not 95. I guess the other ones are saying that the toe hooks are toe hooks. I'm sorry it's not for me, but please don't be offended.

I've left the radiator as is at the moment. Might as well see if the top pipe holds okay before I replace it. So far so good.

The AE86 is alive! Here's the proof: Very fitting that my GT gave my AE a helping hand to bring it back to life: 28 km/h on axle stands!
-
That's impressive. Cost me £20 already!

There I was, really excited only for a show off to come along and go one better! How low are you going to go, Dave? I thought you needed to get your backside off the floor. I'm hoping for not more than a 25mm drop which doesn't really come into RCA territory. Though, the Whiteline ones are much shorter than the S Wade ones, but for me I don't think it's worth it.

Ooh wicked! I'll be down mid morning to have a look. Am in Macc tomorrow morning for the big start up of the AE86 all being well!

Sorry, not liking those on the orange car. Just doesn't work. I think the Toms look better, though Buddy Club are my current favourite. -
I'm just going to ask her to set it up like Keith's.
-
Looks really good, Ian.
-
I admit, I much prefer the BTCC.
-
Tried to watch the Malaysian race, but it was just very boring. Lost the will in the end.

I'm quite interested to see what the Tom's lights look like. Not sure about those side repeaters on the mirrors.
