Tempest Rally, Farnborough, Sat 2nd November

It's a rally, Keith. Normally good fun to watch, though it depends upon where the stages are, whether they are special stages or through a forest etc. Good luck with the rally! :+:

    Californian BRZ vs Mustang comparison

But a live axle is archaic. My AE86 has a live axle. Yeah, it's fun but has severe limitations. This of course was fine in 1985..... I continue to be unimpressed by American cars.

    Californian BRZ vs Mustang comparison

Can't believe the Mustang has a live rear axle. What were they thinking?

    Beat Sonic Shark Fin

Looks good to be fair. I still can't decide whether I'm worried enough to change it. Like others I don't use my FM radio either, I only use DAB. Would love it if I could get rid of the aerial completely but a rubber bung wouldn't look good!

I've not got much option, Mark, it's where I work! Werrington and Cheadle too!

    Club Polo shirts

As I understand it we need ten orders placed before we can make the order.

    Hello all

Cool. I've been doing much the same this week over Biddulph Moors to Rudyard and through Leek. Been through two fords so far! Car is totally filthy too.

    Pimp My Ride

Red is my favourite colour but that might be a bit much. Certainly puts Mark's boudoir to shame!
  15. When I'm not doing car stuff, my other passion is most definitely music. I confess to listening to 6Music pretty much 24/7, I think I'm addicted, but at heart I'm a bit of an 'indie chick' and the chance to see Suede was just too good an opportunity to miss. I also thought it would be good to get some other topics on here. Teleman were the supporting act: I've heard some of their stuff on 6Music over the summer. 'Steam Train Girl' probably being the track being their best known really. So, I was interested in what they might be like. They started quite well, but were just not strong enough IMO. Steam Train Girl was the one everybody seemed to like. Teleman are sort of Indie-electronica type band. Felt a bit underwhelmed by them tbh. So, no download for them. Suede: Well, Brett Anderson has some presence alright. Started off with some of the Bloodsports songs (their new-ish album and the first in nine years). That was good enough but of course everyone (well everyone over 40) wanted to hear some of the Bernard Butler stuff, ie the first two albums. Well, they didn't dissapoint and I was soon pogo-ing when Animal Nitrate came on. They also played So Young, The Drowners (of course!) an absolutely epic version of Asphalt World complete with a soaring end just like the album version, but better. Also did Metal Mickey. The weakest points were the slow ballad tracks, though opening with Still Life was brave to be fair and highlighted Brett's voice, which is impressive. Overall, I rocked till I dropped and got a black cab all the way home with the windows open in an attempt to cool down. Half an hour late I was still buzzing. Highly recommended. :+: View from behind the mixing desk:

I reckon they should have called it the BRZ St Tropez or something.

I'm going for the Yoko's from Richard at RRG. Which reminds me, I should look at getting them fitted in the next couple of weeks!

Rob, sorry to be awkward, but can I get it in ladies sizes, looking for a 10, so small I would guess. Also is there a choice of colours?

I noticed it doesn't work properly either. Sort of a 'some of the new content', as it misses stuff off!

    Hello all

Wasabi! Was a great night out at Wasabi for some teppen yaki style Japanese cooking. We really ought to do this as a club event, very appropriate I think!
  25. Okay, Neil the new owner of Richard's TRD is doing a trackday at Oulton Park on Saturday 26th October. This has pre-booked for a while and he's out in a BaT Caterham. He should have his car by mid-week though. The general idea is to pop down trackside for a natter then onto curry for later. Venue has yet to be decided for curry, so I'm open to ideas. I know the southern lot have their own meet going on and I don't envisage this would be a biggie, but it would be nice to welcome Neil to the club of course! :)Let me know if you're interested.
