Where did you get your reverse bulbs, got a link?
-
It's a shared drive with another house. It's just the access road that has no lighting, actual parking area is lit ok😂
-
Thanks. I work night shift so almost always coming home in the dark and I have to reverse up the drive which is quite narrow. More light the better!
-
How bright are your reverse lights with the LEDs now? I tried a set and they were quite poor brightness wise compared to the standard bulbs.
-
I did it a couple of years ago. I hire on of the Suzuki Swifts as I didn't want the risk of me binning it(small) getting hit/involved in someone elses accident(slightly higher) and the insurance/liability implications. The wear on the cars are minimal compared to traditional circuit driving. The company I hired from said their cars get hammered on the GP circuit compared to the ring.

V105s seems to get praised for their wet handling from Evo tyre test. I've only tried them in the wet in my friends Clio 200 and they were pretty impressive http://www.evo.co.uk/features/18309/the-best-tyres-2016-evo-tyre-test/page/0/6

I can see both, 56k and £11995 Not going to sell some of the nice bits separately?
-
Cheers. No doubt over time I'll do some stuff to the car. As it is a daily, I don't really want to lose driveability. I've changed coilovers etc on the VX's and ended up making it worse for the B roads up here. A bit more power would be nice!
-
Hi all. I finally bit the bullet and bought a GT86 yesterday. I was quite lucky to get 2, 45 minute test drives round my local roads. I decided to buy this as a daily driver/fun car. Over the last 6 years I have had a VX220 turbo, Elise S and another VX220. I do miss the performance of those cars but I think I'll still have fun in this. Anyway, first pic yesterday waiting to get the winter tyres fitted. Quite surprised how soft the sidewalls are on the primacy tyres! New headlight bulbs ordered already and just waiting for my plate to go on. Cheers Previous toys

As above. I'd say you have zero chance of getting that changed. My screen is marked/scratched lightly also. I blame the previous owner scrubbing a dirty windscreen with a dirty sponge.
-
Thanks guys. Luckily, my mate owns a tyre fitting garage up here. Think I'll be going through rears at quite a rate! The winter tyre sidewall is way stiffer than the primacy. When you lift the tyre carcus the sidewalls just flex and don't hold their shape compared to most tyres. Apparently a lot of the Michelin tyres have quite soft sidewalls. I also have access to a hunter alignment machine so will probably get a set of from camber bolts before getting it up on that.
