  1. At the moment I'm still trying to get using all the track on the exit correctly without overdoing it and spinning (I got my black flag for that) Once I can go fast whilst staying on the track then I'll try heel and toeing it Alec
  2. Following Lauren Its in the process of being rotated so if its still upside down look later, try playing it though as the vid is now the right way up

    Hello "the other side"

Hi, despite what some think it's not either or, we don't mind people still being on there, we just try and encourage people to join us, as we are trying hard to make sure events happen where we actually do stuff and we welcome as many along as possible Alec

They didn't say in the presentation whether it was a Roots or twin screw, they just said major manufacturer as used by Jag and Merc and Pitman said Eaton which they then admitted to Alec

    Countdown is on!

If the weathers bad go and find some empty roundabouts and try increasingly dabbing the loud pedal Personally I recommend starting to play with the stability control on, I still don't drive on the road with it all off (thats after 21 months of driving it), as every time I have been on a track and turned it all off I've spun, admittedly this was while deliberately trying to slide it, but I know that I'm not good enough to be able to catch it, so don't risk everything off on the road. Obviously if you have had loads of RWD ignore me as its my first RWD car which is why I like wet roundabouts Alec

That oversize sump seems a good idea to me, prefer to have plenty of oil after killing a 2ZZ-GE in my T-Sport when cornering hard. I loved the power delivery of that engine, took off at 6.2k, perfectly matched to the gearbox in Celica, take it to the redline, up a cog and just right to do it again. Alec
  19. Think I'm too old for this whole transformers thing, to quote Midge "it means nothing to me!" And that's Ultravox's Midge Ure, not the mouse out of "Mary, Mungo and Midge" which is more my era Alec

    Hi all, New from Mansfield

I'll be there as well in my Silver 86, you could meet up with the rest of us before at the Pub if you wanted "Just having a look round on google, there is a pub approx 1mile away from Cosworth called Sixfields (http://www.hungryhor...lds-northampton). I suggest we all meet up there at 12, grabbed some lunch and then head to Cosworth." From Will's post http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/1610-cosworth-invites-you-to-the-2014-fa20-launch-event-300514/page-2 Alec

    Tuning a NA

Enjoy yourself Steve, if it's your first track day makes sure you don't turn in to early or you run wide on the exit, take it slow at first and enjoy yourself as you have all day. I'm really really jealous Might take the day off anyway and come down to see if I can get in to watch (and bring my lid if anyone isn't taking a passenger) Alec
