Can I suggest that when you fit it keep it at a jaunty angle I tightened mine to get it straight (OCD) and once the engine was warm it was a bastard to undo when trying to top up the oil I reckon I'm going through a litre every 4-5000 miles (I've used a 5 litre bottle in 24k) Drive it like you stole it !

oooh, shall i lock the thread then ? I'm afraid that I'm a believer in free speech and like a bit of a wind up, its not personal, If Dan made some money out of it good luck to him. Its the secrecy and prevention of a free and open discussion that I don't like. As for using a pseudonym I didn't have a lot of choice there as my original account got banned I get on well with a lot of the guys on the other forum and I don't like stuff being hidden from them, ask anyone that I used to work with at Marconi, I don't like people trying to keep things secret that effect others, these things should be talked about Alec (freedom of speech for all !) basically I have real issues with banning people and censorship, if it's personal abuse then possibly/probably, but not where its just a point of view you don't agree with, you put up your own view and let the reader decide

Would you have wanted the release of the car to have been delayed to add this change ? OK just got my car back from RRG Macc after it's 20k service (lovely and clean but a drive to Nottingham across the Peaks tomorrow will put paid to that ) Well apparently in the last 10000 miles I have hammered the front pads and they are now about 75% gone and rather just replace them with stock I was wondering if anyone has tried any after market pads for an equivalent price ?
