Impressions of Spa

Looks like it might only let you do 3 per post? Might be to do with the size as these are pretty high res images DJ6K1930 by keith.stanbury, on Flickr DJ6K2436 by keith.stanbury, on Flickr

You can upload but you probably need to resize the photos first (this is to reduce storage space and reduce the load on the server caused by large high res images) If you upload them to Flickr or Photobucket its their servers that take the hit rather than ours. Its free to get 1 Terabytes of storage on Flickr and you can add your photos to a common group I have set up http://www.flickr.com/groups/2392049@N20/ This is an invite to join the group from Flickr I wanted to invite you to join a cool group on Flickr! It's called Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ Drivers Club, and it's a big bunch of fun! If you would like to join this group, click on the following link (or copy and paste it into your web browser). Then you can see what this group is all about! http://www.flickr.com/welcome/95014563/1201d32d5b/

JDM North Xmas Meet Oulton Park

IMOC (the MR2 mob we shared with at JAE) are meeting up to drive there and I'll probably tag along with them From their forum : JDM North Japanese car and bike meet is happening at at Oulton Park on Saturday 30th November. It's on from 1100hrs to 1700hrs and is £2 per person on the gate. I'm organising a pre-meet at Lymm services, a short, fun country drive through Kingsley and hopefully arriving in convoy and all getting parked up together for the meet. Meet at Lymm Services (furthest corner of the car park) M6 Junction 20 WA13 0SP Arrive at 09:30 or earlier (for a Mc Donalds breakfast). Set off at 10:00. Follow this route (20miles, 40mins) https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=WA13+0SP&daddr=53.2689365%2C-2.6732532+to%3AOulton+Park&hl=en&ll=53.197241%2C-2.625904&spn=0.030594%2C0.084543&sll=53.26982%2C-2.665322&sspn=0.007635%2C0.021136&geocode=FbMxLgMdCsnZ_ymZMGJL1_96SDHIucEl8r62Ew%3BFcjRLAMdmzXX_ylRCrusruR6SDEElE09zfWc0g%3BFWVwKwMdGhLY_yGJQQKaxLgGaCmNgIMdZfB6SDGJQQKaxLgGaA&t=h&mra=dpe&mrsp=1&sz=16&via=1&z=14 And we should arrive in good time to get a nice spot. JDM North are expecting about 500 cars to turn up. There is also a track day on that you can watch.

  11. Squires-cafe it is then, 11:30am on Sunday the 11th. Squires can be found on the B1222 at Newthorpe near Sherburn in Elmet in West Yorkshire just off Junction 42 on the A1(M) Postcode for your Sat Navs is LS25 5LX https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&s...2864,-1.288901For those coming across from the North West For those from Manchester area we could meet at Birch services eastbound on the M62. Postcode OL10 2HQ They have Costa, for breakfast if people fancy it. It's an hour from there to the meeting point at Squires cafe. So reckon 10am at Birch services makes sense. :)Above shamelessly robbed from posts by Keith and LaurenAlec

    Winter tyres

Lauren didn't get her car until Feb so didn't have it for most of last winter

    Winter tyres

They'll be a bit bigger, see http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=225&aspect=45&diameter=17&wheelwidth=7&offset=42&width2=225&aspect2=50&diameter2=17&wheelwidth2=7&offset2=42#content So at 30mph your speedo will read a bit low (28.97mph), but you already are a bit low and compared to OEM http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=45&diameter=17&wheelwidth=7&offset=42&width2=225&aspect2=50&diameter2=17&wheelwidth2=7&offset2=42#content so at a real 30 you will see 28.56 on the speedo, but as speedos in this country tend to read high you will probably be about right, best way to check is to use a GPS reading from a TomTom or your phone

    Frost and Sticking Windows

OK, for those who haven't owned their 86/BRZ through a winter be prepared for sticky windows. Once frost forms you will find that the glass may stick to the rubber seal, this can cause the window motors to go into fault mode as they then can't do the one inch drop when you open the doors, the lights on the switches flash and you have to go through a reset sequence What can help is this stuff, you apply it to the rubber and it helps prevent the glass sticking, still have issues with really heavy frosts where it builds up at the bottom, but this prevents the ones where its stuck at the top, where you are crapping yourself pulling the door open with the glass stiuck against the seal. [ http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=287698 Worth getting some before the frosts start, you can find it on Amazon and Ebay, think I paid £7.95 for mine but it last for ages (My Boss and I went halves as his A5 coupe had the same issue) Alec
