Just found this vid we took of Ross (forpster) in his RX-8 in the snow in the car-park at work in 2010 (My old T-Sport bottom of screen at the beginning) Ok he was playing to the crowd a bit, but this can happen to you as well without the right tyres, do you want to look like a pillock and have to drive like a granny?

Glad you had fun and no incidents this time, let me know when you have the video and I'll give you a bell and talk you through how to upload to youtube Alec

Club Logo png files for watermarking photos
keelerad posted a topic in Meets/Show & Shine - Pictures & Videos
If anyone is putting photos somewhere external and wants a club logo to stick in the corner of the image I have dropped a range of sizes in black and white in this gallery http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=browse&album=19 and in facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/278484378954818/files/ The full size ones are nearly 2000 pixels wide, the other numbered ones are a % of this size e.g. the 50 ones are about 1000 pixels wide, 25 are approx 500 etc. Right click on the one you want and select "save as" and make sure the type is still png, these should have the background as transparent so you can copy and paste them on top of photos in most editing software then just save the new combined photo If you need editing software you can use the Gimp (no really !) http://www.gimp.org/ This is availabe for windows totally free and is very powerful (although a bit daunting for first use) If there's a need, I can probably put together a how-to showing how to use gimp to slap a logo on a photo Alec -
Was talking to someone yesterday about the rear lens condensation issue and I mention I'd seen a TSB somewhere. It was on the US FT86 forum here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21868 It has links to pdf versions of the TSBs, which include how to check if you have the issue and how to fix it. So if you think you have one of these issues worth downloading and printing it out before going down to your dealer Alec

Don't get excited, we take a break from wrenching to travel down to Arizona where Toni from FA20Club was flown-in to tune naturally aspirated, Innovate and Vortech Supercharged FR-S and BRZ. Fuel, tuning and heat clearly dictated the success of modifying this car. We interview Toni the owner of FA20Club along with Vortech owner and Innovate Owners. Average NA cars were making roughly 165HP after tune with some exhaust and intake modifications. The non-intercooled Innovate kit struggled on 91 Octane. Power topped at 191HP because of heat/stability issues. On E85 Innovate kits made 228 HP. The Vortech car on smaller pulley, port injectors and larger in tank pump made 306HP to top highest numbers of the day on E-85 but had some drivability issues to sort out.

AP Racing Brake Kit We review and install the Essex AP Racing Sprint Kit for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ with a special guest. This is by far the most impressive and useful kit on the market. Designed specifically for the FRS/BRZ, we show viewers how to install and the benefits of the kit.

I got £2500 for my Tsport 190 bhp version, one owner (but it was me!) with a full Toyota service history (Toyota in NOtts offered £1850), 2004 80k miles, so I would guess less than a grand, doesn't mean I'm right, just a guess. Alec

Thats one of the reasons that drove me to the 16's along with keeping my OEMs salt free Alec
-
Yeah I had it do what Rob mentioned, tried to wind it down to reset it and it got stuck fully open, wish I'd just left it stuck the one inch down as I had to drive to work in subzero temps with the drivers window fully open. Once the temp warmed up a bit then it started working again and i could shut it but it was a cold drive (thank god it was just from the B&B to work rather than all the way across the Peaks) Alec

Sorry Tim can't do the Saturday now as another family event has been arranged on that day, I could do the Saturday before or after, or a Sunday if I get someone to take my eldest to football, woud like to go still if re-arranged but I understand that might not fit with others plans Alec
