SEIBON CARBON Rear Spoiler - OEM Style
GT86Jay replied to Xrkc6x's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Heres a couple from Lydden / Fensport.. -
I'd be in on a group buy too.
-
You'll want to do it through Insurance. Because when I looked into it it works out at about £500+ Ex VAT!

I think I recall GPRM saying they still use the stock Anti roll bar on their cars. They hadn't yet seen the need to upgrade.

Not at all. You can pass cables behind the heating controls and out by the steering column very easily. Opening the glove box and you can see behind the dash easily. Then I jsut cable tied it up behind the footwell and across to the driver side vent. Didn't have to remove any trip or dash. At most I popped the glove box out.

I've bought the same. I'll be routing my kit though the Firewall grommet behind the Passenger footwell. It's where I ran the Power cable for my amp. I put a neat hose in to make it easier to pass cables in the future. The gauges i've gone for are daisy chain too so only need to worry about one cable. The module box will be under the bonnet with one data cable coming through to the gauges.

Yeah it's actually pretty low! I was surprised when I swapped mine over and double checked a few times. But makes sense as it's only really holding it on and not given any force. 26Nm for the Caliper Guide... Same for front and rear callipers... Highlighted in Yellow. First figure is the Nm Figure. We're looking at the top Yellow box....

Easiest way is just take one bolt out form the bottom of the top caliber. And loosen the top one. This then lets you just rotate the caliber off over the pad. Enough to pull the pad out. Doesn't take long once the wheel is off.

Norfolk Police guidelines on vehicle legality.
GT86Jay replied to Lauren's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
I've been pulled over by Norfolk Police for a random check.... About a month after my new exhaust was fitted! Very very loud at the time! They didn't do any checks. Got more carried away with asking about the car. I told them the exhaust was new and gave some details about it. They seemed absolutely fine. Didn't care! There is always a meet up Yarmouth on a Sunday with all sorts of exhausts and tyre setups. Nobody gets pulled over for just having an exhaust or stretched tyres. The only real time people get pulled over is if it's obvious they're being idiots or genuinely have an unsafe car. -
I understand the 2nd gear issue to be more of the selector issue than the actual box itself? Also why the gearbox dismantle? Are you changing ratios? I've often fancied changing the final drive then fitting the Cusco 1st and 2nd gears... To expensive though.

Happy New Year? Have we fallen forward in time?

Bought in error. Wanted to go 'numberless' in my Manual GT86 but the thread / fitment is different so this will only fit the Auto car. Cant be bothered to send it back and stuff. So offering it here. Give us offers. Not after much. Ideal if someone with an Auto is looking to swap to red / replace theirs. Brand New. Will post at buyers cost. Or pick up from Norwich / Any event we're both at.

The Toyota Service Sheet shows 60k and they're £13.71 each. Apparently the labour is included in the full 60k service.

The OEM Impreza STI Brembo kit is great value for money in my opinion! Cost £600 to get them on the car with new pads including refurbish. They stop very well, i've never had over heating issues on the road! I've done a 20 minute Snetterton Session and didn't have any problems and Maz has done the sprints on them and not had problems. They stop very well, looks great, bigger discs and a good price. The low weight of the GT86 helps a lot!

Does this mean you're going fully built too Dave?

I've got a Cobra 2nd Cat Delete Non-resonated front pipe that's coming off my car within the next couple of weeks. It's done about 20k miles but is still in great condition. I've been under the car and had a good look to check and all fine. Stainless steel. 2.5" bore. T304 Stainless Steel Tig Welded. Flows very well. Would be ideal for someone with a Cat Back system or someone just looking to make the OEM system sound and flow a little more aggressively. Will be coming off my car soon at Fensport. Waiting for some bits to come in stock. Then I'll get it changed straight away. So will be available from this point. (Estimated next couple of weeks) £210 from Cobra. Looking for £120 ONO.

Ok, Provisionally sold! It will come off the car soon as my bits come into stock. Awaiting an update today. I'm sure Adrian will be okay with looking after it until you get there to fit it? -
Yep, I know that guy. He went from being the first TRD in AUS to the first Avo Customer in Aus to the first Twincharged GT in Aus (World?)...
