Driven Keith's can on the road and on track, Very good brakes. They're made at the same factory and they get good reviews for the cost.

Might mean some Boot lids without holes become available then I'm sure tthey'llbe a few owners that buy the base model and want to swap for a stock spoiler... Have you got a date on your new Aero arriving?
-
So is the Primo edition a Poverty spec for the UK? Doesn't have Keyless entry or the Spoiler.

He couldn't resist Red after having to give mine back...
-
Wasn't me unfortunately, I was so close to committing to it! But this months been so expensive. Plus what I really want to be doing is saving for FI. Glad it's sold and whoever has it will enjoy.
-
I'll speak with Adrian today about fitting / labour costs. Where is it? Did you have it removed at Fensport?
-
I've driven Maz's car with this exhaust on. Was very comfortable and a good great exhaust for NA version of the cars. With this system you also get the best of both worlds, you could drive it round town silent and it idles really quiet. But if you want the volume then you can get it louder with more throttle. Sounded epic under full load! Maybe a little on the louder end of the market. Probably similar to my Cobra Exhaust and the Non-Resonated Milteks. I also drove it when Maz went Supercharged, for FI cars though I felt it was too loud. Not as loud as some out there but was to loud to be comfortable for my liking. Weight is definitely a pro on this system though.

Will have a good think about it, need to see if funds allow. + Fitting labour costs etc.
-
Stan have you got the same ratio as this one for sale? I was very impressed with your car. Not so sure I want the whine though
-
Yeah that's the one I used on my car Keith, I've gone for the smaller grooves on mine. Don't seem to have any problem with cooling or heat issues. Although im not FI at this point.

Reverse Camera Plug and Play Kit - £75
GT86Jay replied to GT86Jay's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Hi guys, So the last plugs which i'm waiting on seem to be stuck at Customs.... Maybe someones trying to smuggle some drugs over with them...? The first lot came in fine, but it means it's delayed my ability to make some of the harnesses. Ive i've not had a customs notice in the next day or two i'll be chasing. Sorry for the delays.- 145 replies

Do you know the labour time / cost of fitting? I have no idea how the ratios work, but might be tempted if it works well with a manual? I don't want to turn 1st gear into a tyre shredding gear or be sitting at 4kRPM at 70mph on the motorway....?

Wanted Rear Boot Liner / Mat and Polystyrene Panel
GT86Jay posted a topic in Wanted GT86 / BRZ Cars and Parts
Looking for the Boot Liner carpet mat for the boot. And the round under boot polystyrene panel. Before I order one through Toyota wondering if anyone had one they'd taken out or not using they are willing to sell? I cut mine about and destroyed it to fit a built in sub. But change of plan / set up now means I've not got any carpet panel or polystyrene blocks. If anyone does have these parts let me know / give me a price and i'll get money Paypal'd over. Thanks Jay. -
Wanted Rear Boot Liner / Mat and Polystyrene Panel
GT86Jay replied to GT86Jay's topic in Wanted GT86 / BRZ Cars and Parts
That's the main bit I'm after Mike. I believe you can but it's more than I want to spend on a bit of polystyrene brand new. So willing to offer someone something second hand if they have spare. -
My waffle sprocket made a world of difference. Richard even tightened it up when it was RRG.

Absolutely fantastic day. Didn't get much sleep last night, after arranging to pick up the car at 10, I some how woke up at 5 wondering how I was going to waste 5 hours when I was only 5 minutes around the corner from RRG. Richard then posted the teaser photo saying it was ready! Have to say a massive thank you to everyone at RRG from the Reception staff for answering all my phone calls through to Richard and Andy working on the car to get it to perfect condition. The work and dedication into this project has been outstanding. So glad I made the move to get the car to RRG 5 hours away from where I live. Richard managed the project perfectly and knew what needed doing / changing to get the car perfect. Making sure it was absolutely 100%, and i'm grateful that he took this care and passion over it as if it was his own rather than rush it to get it back to me etc. I'll be writing a full follow up post of all the fiasco we had with the insurance company and other factors with this project in due time. But I can say if it wasn't without Richard at RRG I probably wouldn't be here writing this post. And as for the TRD kit, it's something i've always wanted to do, and whilst it was at RRG I just though, i'll do it now or i'll regret it. Knowing the Red TRD is very very Rare / possibly the first genuine customer owned TRD kit?... Not sure. The TRD looks so amazing in real life. Pictures always look good but no photo does justice to the real thing! On the journey home, which turned into a 8 hour journey, every one on the opposite side of the road whilst waiting in traffic was looking. We stopped at the first petrol station just out side Macclesfield and had people asking what it was and if it was standard. 1 guy in a brand new 64 plate BMW Alpina BiTurbo gave us the thumbs up. Couple of plans for it now i've got it back... 1. As Rob says i'm going to either Carbon Fibre the Fog lights with gloss black or at least get them done in gloss black finish. 2. Lauren, probably look into the TRD fins. Depends how it finishes it off. I do really like the BRZ ones as it goes well with the lines of the cars etc. 3. The Cobra Stickers are turning into 'Tuning Developments TRD' stickers. 4. It's going to be my sole mission to find a set of TRD SF2 Alloy Wheels like on the US / Launch TRDs. Although looks like the cost is around £2k for wheels and limited. 5. Make the car a little lighter, remove the heavy sub system I had in the boot. And put in the new OEM+ style system i've bought. 6. Get tuition and learn how to drive this car and the utilise all of the power this car gives as standard. (Trust me driving a yaris for 3 months, you realise these cars are quick!) I'll be at Autumn Classics on Sunday so looking forward to finally taking it to a car show. Thanks agin.

The cobra is probably the loudest system. The cobra system, decated + non-resonated is definitely loud. I think we've heard them peak at 108dB before. I get 98db non-res with decanted front pipe. So I should imagine the cat back system non-res is quieter. Here is a video of mine the week i got it all fitted. It got a little more tame after a few miles on the system... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyljbHml0pE

I had a 20k mile service, and had the oils change regardless. My dealer didn't even question it. But I had reached the 20k rather than 2 years....

Nice to see and know that it's all covered regardless of all your modifications / Turbo! How a warranty should be!
-
What have they actually ordered Keith? From what I understand with Rab was that they didn't really know what to try? Hopefully it will all be sorted and back to normal!
