Can't wait to see what it looks like! Didn't they say they were going to announced something later this year? Think there is another motorshow unveiling thing at some point?
-
Just nabbed this off the FT-86 forum. I quite like the overall look, especially the orange hints, just not a fan of the blue bits, think it breaks up the overall effect. And think it'd be better if the interior was re-done with orange inserts/stitching.

Ah nice one, thanks! I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they say.

Does anyone have, or know where I can find, a list of Toyota paint codes? I've got a small paint chip on my door, and I want to fill it in. Oh and perhaps once I have the code, any suggestions as to where I can buy the paint?Cheers!

Not sure if this happens for anyone else, but when I go through the forum reading all the posts, then return to the forum home, the posts are still listed as 'unread' (dark bold blue).Figured I'd log it here as an issue so we can track it. Cheers

Update: Ok so I finally found a solid fix. I tried before deleting my cache, cookies, history, etc. to try and rectify the read/unread situation, but found the solution to be a rogue vBulletin cookie I had neglected to remove. So on removing them all, I'm now back in business :)Issue resolved :32 (1):

Oh, turns out that doesn't work for me either, haha. Everything to do with read/unread topics doesn't seem to like me D:

"Mark channels read"?! where is this secret button you speak of?!

Autoexpress magazines Top 100 Fast Cars, ???

It's because the BRZ has a funny face :32 (20): -
Although the plaque that rich made is a great product, he was trialing different ways to carbon coat the base, and the current method looks great, however during the brief period of sunny weather we had, when exposed to direct sunlight, the carbon coating began to bubble a bit, so rich is working on an alternative solution. In the meantime, I saw this on the FT86 forum - it comes in brushed aluminium, or black, and you can get it engraved with whatever you want, so I went with the Superman logo (might get another one made with my logo at some point).Original thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23480

Having the standard interior means I am left with a blank space where the heated seat switches would typically go, so rich172 (from the other forum) developed this using his 3D printer, and it filled the gap nicely.

BRZ / FR-S / FT86 Vent Integrated Digital Interface
Arekkz replied to BRZ2's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
That's really good! And even better that it doesn't completely block the vent! -
I still need to get back to you on this, but I'm not sure about availability yet, so will let you know :32 (1):

Also, is the drop shadow in the banner logo intentional? Can't help thinking it looks a bit odd?

I noticed that currently, the home page links to our small Facebook group, and was wondering whether it'd be worth setting up an actual Facebook page (obviously once we're up and running properly!). Just thought if we're going to establish ourselves as an actual club, it might be good to have an official Facebook page to go with it.Just a thought :32 (1):

Oh and adding to this, my notifications also don't disappear once I've checked them. So I think it's just a case of the entire site not refreshing for me correctly, or something like that?
-
Yeah the last one is my favourite as well. The part with the car is more for the banner, I only ever intended the left bit to be the actual logo itself. Also, the logo is a vector, so you can make it as big or as small as you like :32 (1): If you decide to go ahead with it, then I'll give you all the relevant vector files should you ever need to make different sized versions as well.

Thanks, glad you like it. I've got 3 new versions below, one which has the original font, but with the minor changes to the car on the BRZ side, and the addition of wheels, then the other two are different font types. I can try even more fonts if you aren't happy with the original (I'm not a huge fan of the two new choices, but chose them to show a different style). Also, if you still think the BRZ needs tweaking, let me know and I'll see what I can do :32 (1):http://s39.photobucket.com/user/Arekusu7/media/GT86BRZ_Logo_02_zpse4a70d3a.jpg.htmlhttp://s39.photobucket.com/user/Arekusu7/media/GT86BRZ_Logo_03_zps3842d2ba.jpg.htmlhttp://s39.photobucket.com/user/Arekusu7/media/GT86BRZ_Logo_04_zps1cc001c3.jpg.html

Yeah, multiple page refreshes and all topics are still 'unread'.

If you clear your cache, it should sort out that "LuckyMonkey" issue. I can see the gt86.org.uk homepage now?

Ah awesome! Wasn't sure on colours, tbh I always prefer working in shades of black and grey, haha, but if you want some colour in it, I can sort something out.
